Welcome and Congratulations to the newbies!

I haven?t been on recently, been feeling rotten. To be honest the tiredness I can cope with, the sicky feeling, I can cope with, the random dizzy spells making me fall over ? I can cope with?.

But?

O my god, the bloating and trapped wind! I?m in agony! Feel like my tummy is about to explode, been feeling so down cause it makes me feel like a fat lump even tho I?ve lost weight cause I can?t face eating

Does anyone have any help for getting rid of the wind? I asked the pharmacist and have been chomping down wind eze tablets but they don?t seem to help.

Hope everyone else is ok, sorry I don?t have personalised updates.

bubblebell Since Friday I have been feeling quite positive, and even if it is misplaced, I guess it has made the weekend more bearable (Thursday I felt like my world was imploding, and that's no fun!). The spotting is still there - it is more like pink cm to be honest - but so are the symptoms and my more positive hpts, so I guess we'll see.

weesooty, sorry to hear you're feeling so uncomfy - I have had a couple of episodes of severe bloatedness, too, but luckily it has died down after a bit. Have you tried lying on your back and bringing your knees up towards your chest?

Yeah, finally some sleep. Woke up feeling rotten Friday, killer sore throat and aches. took day off work, and alot better yesterday. Although my neighbours having a party at 3am did not help... Now just feel deaf as ears all blocked. Today a relaxing day of a hair cut, shopping and seeing friends :) Hope the monday appointments go well for you..

Hello, can I join too please? I've been having some spotting but have had an early scan and seen a heartbeat so am cautiously optimistic. Good luck to all having scans tomorrow and I hope you get good news.

Apart from the spotting and the BFPs (at least 10 tests done so far not including the ones before AF was due ), I have no symptoms unless you'd count a constant burning desire for cheap chocolate (fulfilled) and coca cola (unfulfilled). I'm eating Nutella with a spoon while I type and dreaming of fizzy drinks.

Hope everyone is doing ok, just about to read back through the pages I've missed. Been away with my boyfriend this weekend, was a bit of a disaster as I've felt so awful. I'm so light-headed I can't stand up without wobbling half the time and I'm feeling sick but starving at the same time :/ All I've wanted to eat all day is a kebab which I'm resisting the urge to go and get as I type. 6 weeks today!

MissPolly, welcome to the thread! That's great that your scan went well, and it gives me hope too! Do you still have the spotting? I'm getting anxious for tomorrow now.

Poor you CaptainHetty! I have a lot of lightheadedness atm too, although I somehow managed to go to a hen do yesterday/last night, which involved a dance class! Only got through it I think because my MS and symptoms are worst in the evening. Made the dinner a bit of a letdown for me - no booze and didn't much enjoy the meal. But I'm glad I went anyway.

Nasara yes I still have spotting. Brown cm but sometimes (including today) pink. Best of luck for your scan. As I am still early on (and you too presumably), they did an internal scan which took about five minutes but was absolutely fine - not uncomfortable at all.

MsInterpret I had a similar thing at a hen party when pregnant with DC1. Hen party with a pole dancing class. I am a bit of a prude at the best of times but sober and morning sick is the worst of times for something like that so I found the whole thing excruciating.

How was everyones weekends? We went to see In-Laws and tell the news, MIL wasn't suprised because her mum had 'sensed' we were pregnant!! weird eh?!

KPT083 - my MIL wasn't surprised either when we told her. I think she has a sixth sense. I'd been trying quite hard not to give off any kind of child-vibes, but she just said cheerfully that she "thought we were heading in that direction." Mind, none of the small number of people that I've told so far have been at all surprised, so maybe I am just really bad at acting.

Feeling really nauseous today, can't face the thought of eating but I know if I do I'll feel better Haven't actually been sick though. With dc1 I was sick all the time (would literally have to pull the car over)

I had a very quiet weekend. Absolutely pooped and hibernated pretty much all weekend. My DH was brilliant and kept our DD entertained - thank goodness!

Sorry WeeSooty I don't have any advice regarding the bloatedness - it horrible isn't it. I'm thinking about telling work sooner rather than later because of how big my tummy looks by the end of the day.

Have got my booking in appointment with the Midwife on 24th.

Hope there's good news at your scans Nasara & Bubble.

I contacted the hospital earlier and was told that there's no need for me to have an early scan even though I conceived on clomid. I guess my GP thought that they might want to do one because of the increased chance of multiples, though I guess I'll find out at 12 weeks . Still, my booking in appointment's been arranged for 3 weeks time, so progress of sorts.

Just adding myself to the list. Can't believe how many posts there have been since I joined last week, just been catching up. Better add that I'm 5'7".

No symptoms other than f*ing knackered, in fact just considering a snooze on the sofa...

Hey all just to let you know scan went well. Saw heartbeat and edd changed to 6 oct

Bitter sweet tho just found out my sister has Said some hateful things about my dc and this pregnancy. Don't think if ever felt so betrayed.
Dp is saying be happy celebrate but I feel so sad.

The scan revealed a teeny beanie with a flickering heart :o, and a naughty little blood pocket near to the sac, so fingers crossed that it goes away without disturbing my bubba. So so relieved, I cannot explain how much! I have a scan on the 24th to see how the bleed is getting on. The sonographer said she felt I was 5.5/6 weeks which is pretty much what I thought.

Bubble - fantastic news. I bet that is a huge relief.

Sorry that your sister hasn't been so nice though. Your DP is right though - try to focus on your pregnancy and not the hurtful things she is saying. Could she be jealous about it?

Yes we are normally close and yes she prob is jealous but she shouldnt have said the things she said, I'm selfish for wanting another child and my kids will be neglected financially. She actually said to ds1 u are going to be the child wearing hiteck mo more Nike for u. He left my mothers and was devastated. And apparently my did and been sayin this to my mum infront of both ds while I was at my scan this morning
