How do we see photos?? I am still getting cramps at 6 weeks Sad

Made it into work today and nearly threw up in a meeting.

Told my boss and she was really happy and gave me a hug-I asked if I could have a word and she said she was hoping I was going to say I was pg-she knew we were trying after I told her about the mc last year!

Bubblebell1 · 08/02/2012 15:32

Haha. Maybe it's a girl thing Wink i felt great with the boys just sleepy, who knows. Eh roll on October Grin

PopcornMouse · 08/02/2012 15:37

psammead I confess to raising my voice a wee bit earlier when DH said he was going to make a phonecall before cooking lunch... Blush :o I am starving all the time!!

MakeTeaNotWar · 08/02/2012 15:39

I was awake from 1am - 4am this morning - NOT FUNNY. Weird bloaty sensation too, something is definitely growing in there. I'm Irish, DH is South African and we live in the UK but we'll def pick an Irish name. DD has one and we have our boy's name sorted, just really stuck on another good Irish girl's name!

Bubblebell1 · 08/02/2012 15:48

babybrain click on the user name and view pictures Grin

Pezzina · 08/02/2012 16:16

Psammead I'm feeling exactly the same. Have to keep 'grazing' to stop the nausea. I'm sure the girls I share my office with at work think I'm turning into a pig. I haven't stopped eating since I got in this morning. I'm currently munching on a double-decker - not very nutritious but its what the baby wants!

Psammead · 08/02/2012 16:34
Grin

I plan to use that as an excuse! My first pregnancy was so incredibly stressful - not in itself, but just with life in general. I feel I am owed a bit of a languishing on sofas munching chocolate time!

RnB · 08/02/2012 18:30

Hope you're ok after your fall Thunderbolt?

Dp has just made a delicious stew but could hardly eat it as was feeling so nauseous Sad

HeyMicky · 08/02/2012 18:37

Evening all - seems some of us had have rotten days. I was also up at half 4. I hereby prescribe the stodgy, sweet, carb-based treat of your choice.

Got my first appointment, finally - not till 21st though.

Bubblebell1 · 08/02/2012 18:38

Oo I love stew Grin hungry face emotion.

But I've got real bad pain, in my pelvic region i am doubled over at times. What could it be?

WeeSooty · 08/02/2012 19:07

Evening all! Had to actually do some work so couldn?t keep up this afternoon!

Gizzy The pee holder had me in stitches? meaning I had to go pee again! Honestly I?ve been like a waterfall today! (sorry tmi Blush ) I always wanted to be a nursery nurse but I do not have the patience! I?d hate teaching high school maths tho, no wonder you were stressed! You must feel relived now and it really wasn?t worth upsetting yourself!

cakes I second what everyone else has said, mw probably just being extra careful, hope the scan goes well!

Thunder How are you feeling now? I hate falling over, I always think you hurt more bouncing up in embarrassment! I work within a mental health environment and its always horrible when something like that happens, hope you are feeling better.

I actually think everyone needs chocolates for their crappy mornings! Hope you are all feeling better now!

baby I?m also still getting cramps and I think I?m 6/7 weeks, they are easing off they past 2 days but of course that makes me panic and pant check!!

Well I am totally shattered today, the tiredness is def getting worse. And the wind Blush I am normally a total prim and proper girl, would never let go in public but honestly I am past caring now!

Am quite jealous Hmm of everyone who is feeling sick and going off food, I am feeling fine in that respect, a bit sicky at about 10am and 3pm but that?s it. I should be grateful I guess!

I?m over the moon tonight cause I got my appointment for my scan and midwife visit, 15th March Grin ages away still but I?m just happy to have a date to focus on!

HettyTurner · 08/02/2012 20:13

Evening everyone!

I got my BFP on Sunday and after a testing everyday I am finally starting to belived I am going to have DC#2!

Sorry for those of you suffering with the dreaded morning sickness, I was in a right state last time and hoping it's not as bad this time.

Hetty x

RnB · 08/02/2012 21:06

BB - could be SPD? A pelvic condition caused by pg hormones. I've had it with each pg, starting earlier each time. Pretty sure it started at about 12 weeks last time. Hopefully it's just stretching pains...

nasara · 08/02/2012 21:30

DeeLite I have had spotting on and off for about 12 days - it ranges from very light pink cm to watery red cm - so at least not bright red and thick. But still so scary. I am going to call EPAU and hopefully get a scan. Going to do my digi too and hoprfully get a 3+.

Feeling really bloated today, like I-have-swallowed-a-basketball bloated!

babybrain3 · 09/02/2012 07:34

Good luck nasara hope everything's still ok... Smile

GizzyBoo · 09/02/2012 08:56

nasara I hope you are feeling well this morning and things have settled.
let us know how you get on with the EPAU Smile

I don't know what is wrong with me.....I can't stop wanting chocolate cake. I don't even like chocolate, or cake very much! It is far too early for cravings!!

I feel sick Envy

KPT083 · 09/02/2012 08:57

Morning Ladies,

Accidentally tested again yesterdayBlush, it fell out of the packet honest guv!!!

I've got my doctors appointment this morning, then I should be nearer to getting a midwifes appt and all the other good stuff. Then I can start counting down [Grin] I like counting in sleeps.

Psammead · 09/02/2012 09:10

Morning all!

I just can't sleep! So tired.

Doc appointment on the 23rd so a while to go yet.

Hope everyone is ok!

DeeLite · 09/02/2012 09:44

Nasara, I called my GP and he immediately referred me to the local EPU. You should definitely do that to to get peace of mind as soon as possible. I think it's very promising that neither of us have red blood or increasing flow but it will be good to have it checked out. Best of luck and keep us posted.

Anyone see OBEM last night? I'm feeling a bit traumatised by the whole thing. That poor Mum, Dad and LO. I bawled my eyes out watching it. Nothing new there except that I'm usually crying with happiness but this time was crying with fear for the baby and pity for that lady's poor lady bits.

KPT083 · 09/02/2012 12:16

I'm just watching it now Shock

GizzyBoo · 09/02/2012 12:35

I did watch OBEM last night and wish I hadn't.
It has given hubby major wobbles about me staying on the island and having a home birth rather than going to the mainland. It has him very much spooked!

I shall have to make him watch some home birth diaries Grin

Pezzina · 09/02/2012 12:39

Cant stop eating!!! My DH was amazed at how many little 'snacks' I packed for work today. Its the only way I can stop feel sick. Honest! Wink I made myself I nice healthy salad for lunch so won't feel too bad about the chocolate biscuits, mini baby bels, crisps and cheese and ham sandwich I've already put away...

Good news from me - we've had the offer accepted on the house we wanted - hoorah! When I was telling my mum and also let it slip I was pregnant so my DH has now told his mum. Its starting to feel all the more real now. didn't feel right my mum not knowing...

How is everyone else today?

I didn't see OBEM - not sure I want to. I have my own memories of childbirth which was actually ok first time round but I still wouldn't want to dwell too much on it, if you know what I mean.

KPT083 · 09/02/2012 13:09

OBEM

That poor lady - OUCH!

Afternoon girls, hope everyone is well. Feeling horrifically dizzy and faint today, nearly bloody collapsed collecting William from nursery earlier. Dreading going back out to get my eldest but don't think the school will appreciate me leaving him there ;) I think it must be low blood pressure, gonna see the doc if it doesn't let up after today. My boobs feel bloody awful as well >_<

OBEM last night had me in tears, that poor woman and baby :( must have been horrific.

I've never liked the idea of homebirth anyway, just one of those things I'm not comfortable with, but I am considering a midwife led unit rather than hospital this time. I suppose I feel slightly better knowing that it is actually on the hospital grounds, just a stand alone unit with just the midwives. It looks a lot more relaxed and I've more chance of a waterbirth there, which I'd really love this time.
