Evening, ladies. Look at us all! Hope everyone is feeling well. One from London here, although I spent a big chunk of my childhood in Australia.

Are we onto names already? DH and I are each keeping a list and will compare later on, although he has already vetoed Nathaniel, humph. I've also had about 6 girls names 'taken' this year by friends, double humph.

Went to the gym tonight for the first time since my BFP. Go a lot normally, and petrified I'm going to do same damage - yoga and walking just aren't going to cut it, but hard to judge how far you can take it

cakes82 · 07/02/2012 19:01

I'm in Wales. Got my Drs appt. tomorrow, it might start feeling a bit more real then. Although the trs are a bit more uncomfortable than usual.

Haven't even started considering names yet. Might choose something Welsh but needs to be relatively easy to pronounce properly.

Waves to Pixie and Popcornmouse

Have picked up a boots catalogue mainly for ideas of what we need than anything else.

RnB · 07/02/2012 19:07

BB - love your cousins names!

Hector is a great name too - very strong.

Evening, thanks for adding me to the list. Had planned to do it today but work was manic.

So sick again today, just after throwing up again after putting DD to bed. On average about 4 times a day at the moment Sad

I'm grateful to have symptoms but once a day would do and at a regular time!

We've not started thinking about names yet. I also love Juno but not sure if DH will go for it.

Hope everyone stays well.

RnB · 07/02/2012 19:48

No need to stop exercising completely - moderate exercise 3x week is ok (if you can actually be bothered! I just want to sleep!). Nothing too high impact though.

HeyMicky · 07/02/2012 20:05

I know, the issue is that I normally work out very hard - boxing, body attack etc. Did 40 mins on treadmill and sitting bike today, heartrate around 118 and barely broke a sweat. I'll miss the endorphin high, too thunderbolt :)

Still no nausea - but oh, the wind Blush

DeeLite · 07/02/2012 20:18

Wow, it's gotten so busy here since I last posted. Congratulations and welcome to all the newbies.

I've had some spotting this week and am having an early scan on Friday. In a bid to counter my usual pessimism, I'm adding my stats as I am feeling quite positive that everything is okay with my little pip.

DeeLite · 07/02/2012 20:19

Forgot to share symptoms: sore boobs and nothing else.

CaptainHetty · 07/02/2012 20:19

I'm too knackered to exercise much at the moment. I'll take up pregnancy yoga at 12 weeks again because I really enjoy it and find the relaxation techniques help a lot during labour.

Can sympathise with the wind thing... Good lord I'm constantly burping and farting at the moment O_o

MakeTeaNotWar · 07/02/2012 21:06

Hi everyone and little wave to the Sussex ladies - I am in Brighton! Adding myself to the list. DD is 17 months so will be 25 months when little Pip arrives - eek! 6 weeks and a day, got a BFP in the loos of Heathrow T3 before flying out to a wedding in New Zealand that was temptingly at a vineyard! My first appointment is with the midwife at 10 weeks which is March 8th - AGES away!

Good luck with the scan DeeLight x

I box too HeyMicky - are you going to carry on? I think I will for a while... and will continue with treadmill and some bodyweight/ light weight resistance stuff. I'm hoping to have more energy in a few weeks or so because at the moment there is no way I can do anything :)

Oh man - yes the wind is unbelievable!!!

RnB · 07/02/2012 21:11

nasara · 07/02/2012 21:25

{{DeeLite}} I have been spotting too - only lightly, but scaring the crap out of me now.

Bubblebell1 · 08/02/2012 05:54

Oh nasara I hope everything is ok. I'm keeping everything crossed x

WeeSooty · 08/02/2012 07:30

Morning everyone!

Thank you so much for all my birthday wishes! Thanks Had a good day yesterday, but was shattered when I got home!

Love that the thread has gone a bit crazy!

Deelite and Nasara keeping my fingers crossed for you both!

Well bit more about me! I?m 27 and live near Glasgow I?m another shortie Grin at 5ft1! I?m really glad so many of you on here are on DC2 and more, cause I am alternating between being overjoyed about my wee snowflake and being terrified! Symptoms wise, my boobs are agony and I have horrendous trapped wind which is causing my skirt to be too tight!

Have a great day everyone!

Bubblebell1 · 08/02/2012 08:17

Morning girls! what a long night. Can't believe how tired I am yet I can't seem to sleep past 5am.
Desperately need some motivation.

Hope everyone is ok. Looking forward to being a bit busier. Sitting at home is driving me crazy x

PopcornMouse · 08/02/2012 09:36

Good luck at the GP cakes can you report back what they ask/do? Mine's Friday :)

Feeling properly rough today! Bleuch.

PopcornMouse · 08/02/2012 09:39

Ohhh and although I have a list of names I like, I don't think DH and I will be discussing it until 12 (probably 20) weeks at least. Seems a bit early iykwim pessimist

Pixiepops · 08/02/2012 10:03

I'm off to the GP on Friday too Popcorn. I'm with you too on the not feeling ready yet for names or just about anything else that's baby related! I told my DP last night that I thought I'd be at least 7 months before I was ready to think about anything like that - he seemed relieved!

My symptoms have quietened down, no nausea at all at the moment and only occasioanl boob pain. I'm still a bit tired, though not as much as last week, maybe I'm just getting used to it Confused. I tested again last night as the lack of symptoms were starting to make me a little uneasy, but there was a lovely dark line almost immediately Grin.

PopcornMouse · 08/02/2012 10:31

I might have tested again this morning too, just for kicks :o Blush

Bubblebell1 · 08/02/2012 10:43

Blush while we are confessing. I did another test yesterday and got a pregnant 3+ Blush

GizzyBoo · 08/02/2012 10:46

Morning ladies Smile

Deelite and Nasara I hope everything is ok with you both....fingers crossed and positive thoughts coming your way x

I'm not gonna live down my heights gaff am I sooty?? Blush If I have to come over to Glasgow for any care we shall have to meet up for a cuppa Brew

Bubble I too keep waking up at studid O' clock and I have to get up for tea. If I don't I just lie there feeling grotty and sick.

I know its too early to get excited about prams and names and such like but I just can't help myself. I think because no one else knows and I can't talk about things openly its like my little guilty pleasure and a bit of a release Blush

Well I went in to work this morning and it was as disorganised as ever. I ended up going in to see the head and telling her I wouldn't be back again to this position (Was only 2 days a week anyway) and would be going back on the supply list for primary/pre-school as I just wasn't happy with the areas where they had been putting me. Was expecting a battle but she was lovely. Thanked me for being honest and said they would be happy to have me back on as supply.
I might seem like a slightly spoilt child telling them I wasn't going to be back but I really don't like where I have been based recently.(I have made this known on numerous occasions)
I am sick, tired and emotional and it really isn't worth tears of dread every morning before work days Blush

So I'm now on the sofa with a cuppa feeling guilty and stupid and like a bit of a failure Sad

GizzyBoo · 08/02/2012 10:47

I have 1 stick left....I may just go pee on it to cheer myself up Blush
