Bubblebell1 · 07/02/2012 16:18

What's it like in Germany?

Psammead · 07/02/2012 16:21

I'm 31. Ooh WGC is vair posh. Well, compared to Stevenage!

Germany is nice. I have been here for six years now. It's bloody cold right now though!

Bubblebell1 · 07/02/2012 16:23

Being nosey now. What made you move?
Would love to relocate just not decided where yet x

Psammead · 07/02/2012 16:25

DH is German. We met while I was just finishing my degree and so I decided to move over here! We have 1 DD - Lucia - 2 years old.

Bubblebell1 · 07/02/2012 16:32

I have 2 ds Ethan 10 and Harvey 5 now this 1 and have no idea what to call my bean if its a little boy Sad

CaptainHetty · 07/02/2012 16:44

I have Aiden - 6, William - 4, and Jessica - 2 (but turns 3 in a couple of weeks).
Names are a subject I'm not allowed to discuss at the moment because everything I like, he hates. I like Florence or Ivy for a girl, he hates both. I like Rupert, Ellis and Freddie for a boy... Yes, he dislikes those, too. No pleasing some people...

GizzyBoo · 07/02/2012 16:44

Yup, I'm an islander. Well I am now anyway. We relocated to the Outer Hebrides from the Midlands 18 months ago.

Oh and I'm 35.

I feel a complete novice on this being pregnant business again. I had no idea how expensive prams were Shock or even what a good brand to buy is now Blush though I have already found a couple I like.

I'm sure I will drive you all fairly mad Grin

GizzyBoo · 07/02/2012 16:47

Ooooh Hetty I have a William too.....he's my youngest.

I thought of a lovely girls name this morning......but I have just had a snooze and forgotten it now!

I have a pic of my big buttons on my profile Smile

Bubblebell1 · 07/02/2012 16:56

Love all those names know a few of each except rupert. Grin
I like Ralph, Stanley and Lenny. Can't have Ralph because my sister likes it and she would prob never talk to me again and do wants Lenny and I want Stanley who knows! I have a girls name just never had a chance to use it Smile

I just had a pushchair catalogue delivered today. Bebe car they are lovely and I'm thinking I may just have 1 of those Wink

CaptainHetty · 07/02/2012 17:02

Aw lovely picture gizzy :)

Those are great names, too, bubble I prefer older names as opposed to some of the more modern 'out there' stuff. Nothing against modern names, obviously, just not my thing. My boyfriend has two daughters with his ex called Sophie and Evie, which are both names I like but obviously can't use :o

Psammead · 07/02/2012 17:03

Gizzy - I'm sure you won't drive us mad! Must be an odd feeling, starting again. Really lovely though!

We're lucky, we still have everything from DD and it's all in good nick. We just need a new set of furniture, really.

I almost hate thinking about these kinds of things as I am really worried about MC. Roll on 12 weeks!

KPT083 · 07/02/2012 17:03

Ha ha gizzy that was funny but how did you guess I'm a shorty too?
I'm living in Cambridgeshire and am 35 no wait 36 Grin

I'm 5'8 Wink

Am 33 and live in Hove. I have quite unusual taste in names - go for classical Latin/Greek names. My dp has to firmly say NO to many of my suggestions!

I love Juno for a girl (dp hates it), and am thinking of Roman for a boy (but would secretly love to have a little Hercules or Apollo. See what I mean?!)

Bubblebell1 · 07/02/2012 17:43

I love Hector :-) or Athina for a girl Grin

Psammead · 07/02/2012 17:45

Roman is very nice.

Names are a bit complicated for us - need to be ok in English and German, not too popular but not too weird, not too old fashioned but not too modern, spelt and pronounced the same... argh!

Psammead · 07/02/2012 17:45

Hector is on our list! Tristan, too.

Bubblebell1 · 07/02/2012 17:50

My cousins are Apostolis , Achileas bit too Greek Grin
