And also mmmcheese I didn't have white patches on my nipples, just the dull stabbing pain after feeding which made me dread feeding and had me in tears. It did clear up after using the cream and my latch was checked so it wasn't a poor latch causing the pain.

mmm you are right, your GP is wrong! If your next GP isn't helpful, ring your maternity ward and ask for the infant feeding advisor/bf specialist midwife. They will often diagnose thrush based on your report of symptoms but some will want to send a milk sample to be analysed. GPs are not always great at diagnosing bfing issues.

Air went out with GP this morning so is being good at the mo and the cleaners have been and i have put all my appointments in my new diary and done 3 loads of washing.

We've had a really busy day! We didn't get out of the house til 10:30 - someone wanted feeding, changing, feeding... Then I couldn't fold the pram (did eventually), then couldn't pack up the car coz someone was crying, then had to defrost the windows...
There wasn't much left at John Lewis. Bought a gorgeous Emile et Rose suit, still expensive, and 6-9 months, but couldn't resist, and picked up a couple of other bits.
Bought a little jumper in M&P. Then got myself a gorgeous cardy (full price ) at AllSaints, and a nice (sale!) jumper from Guess.
Alistair slept the whole time, and as we were late and only out a couple of hours, there was no call for a feed. (was rather looking forward to being courageous!)
Went to mum's, then to her workplace, then to granddad's, then back to mum's. Alistair has pretty much slept the whole time.
Thankfully, now he's home he's awake and seems in a fairly chilled mood. I'd like this to continue so he sleeps tonight.
I'll try to keep him upright more after feeds - thanks for the advice. We had been feeding lying down at night, but maybe we'll sit up more on more fractious nights...

I'm so so sorry to be 'me me me' and not catching up with everyones news, but I just wanted to ask some advice / thoughts

Saul is now 7 weeks. When he is awake he crys constantly, non stop from the second he wakes.

The past 3 days his cry has changed, it is very whinging / high pitched like he is in pain

He has stopped eating as much as he did (only about 3oz a feed compared to 5-6oz) and keeps falling asleep whilst feeding and is very hard to wake up.

He seems tired all the time, and he is never happy or content.

Oh he doesn't have a temperature either.

He keeps chewing on his hand so we gave him a dummy so it didn't turn in.to a thumb. He chews the dummy. I looked in his mouth and it looks like a white molar is coming through! The health visitor said it could be teething, but would teething cause all that or should I take him to the docs?
