Hi, I am five and and half weeks pregnant with baby number two. However I had MC last July at six weeks so very nervous as well as excited. I am due a six week scan on Friday to check if all is well so far. Because of this we haven't told anyone except my parents which is really hard as last time we told all the family but it was a strain listening to their attempts at sympathy when it when wrong. So here I am to announce to anyone that cares to listen that after six months I am pregnant again!! Yeah.

Hi message for Puppy!

Puppy am I remembering correctly that you had a problem with your lutel phase when trying to conceive?

If so can you give some advice to a girl on the conception thread 'only 9 days' who appears to have this problem.

If it wasn't you can you remember who it was as I'm sure it was about the time we where both on those threads.

Thanks Jersey

puppy · 02/02/2006 10:07

Hi jersey, how are you doing?

I think it was artoo who found she had a short lutel phase of 7days

Any news on top banana?

Well I havn't posted for a while as I lost more blood yesterday and went to gp, I had a scan this morning and saw the baby with an heart beat it measures 8mm. to the left of the baby they found a ECH(term to describe a bleed within the uterus but outside of the gestational sac) measuring 11x14x8 mm according to local research that was done an ech does not affect the pregnancy outcome.
I am sooooooo relieved they said I could experience more spotting due to it.
Morning sickness has been quite bad, I find that I am running to the toilet several times in the morning and also feeling bad rest of the day. Lemon drops are helping just while I do the school run.

Regardng sex preference, I would be happy with either, DH has a feeling it will be a girl.
Been looking at prams online and quite fancy a chicco trio.

compo · 02/02/2006 10:10

really glad everything is okay Puppy Still throwing up loads here and generally feel awful all day and all night!!!

jersey · 02/02/2006 10:10

Hi Puppy thanks will see if she is around still.

I'm doing fine, luckly Morning sickness went at 10 weeks, although exhaustion has and still is bad.

Good luck

Micku5 · 02/02/2006 10:35

Morning all. I've just been to the hospital for a internal scan as I thought I was 6 weeks..... but surprise surprise it turns out I am actually 10 weeks and have a new EDD of 31/08/06.

To say DH and I are shocked is an understatement.

compo · 02/02/2006 10:36

wow Micku5!! Does that mean you're abandoning us for the due August thread?!!

Micku5 · 02/02/2006 10:51

Noooooo. I'm still getting over the surprise. I hadn't even thought of it but since I have to have the baby 4 weeks early it looks as though I will have to go there soon.. but I may lurk a bit on there for a while.

CarlyP · 02/02/2006 10:53

wow, wish i would go and theyd tell me that. im 6+5 now and deciding when is best to go for another internal (couldnt see anything at 5+$)

cx

benjaminsmum · 02/02/2006 11:30

Morning all. dh has taken ds swimming so I have time to log on. I have been quite sick for the last two days which is really anoying as at nine weeks and four days you would think it is a bit late to start. Although when I read about compo and corri I feel abit guilty feeling crap. Only good think is that the baby must still be alive.

Between us we seem to have a lot of probs - do you think this is normal or are we unlucky?

Miku - wish I was four weeks ahead of myself but no such luck.

I am glad to read that I am not the only one hoping for the opposite flavour of baby this time round!

Went to look at the buggypod to discover there has been so much demand that they wont have any until April at the earliest.

Micku5! that's got to be good news..you must be relieved to be further on than you thought?
is anyone else suffering with constipation? I am normally regular as clockwork, but there's just nothing happening. With that, stinking cold and nausea am feeling pretty sorry for myself today
Am having a look round the hospital tonight so I can make my 'informed' choice, so we'll see how that goes...

mabel1973 · 02/02/2006 11:35

benjaminsmum - did you actually have a look at a buggypod or weren't there any at all? I am intrigued and would like to see one 'in action' so to speak.

Micku5 · 02/02/2006 14:41

Hiya.... how that it's sunk in a bit I am quite glad, it explains the sore nipples, feeling tired in the afternoon and me having to buy a new pair of jeans next size up. At least it isn't twins

HellKat · 02/02/2006 18:05

Hiya all.
Puppy- Congrats. You're so lucky knowing where the bleeding's coming from. They could'nt see where mine is, just that it was'nt from the baby.

It's now 24 days of bleeding with 5 days off so feeling pretty worn out.
Mick- Wow!!!!!!!!!! Great news hun!!!!!! xx
Off for a soak all. take care. Love & hugs x

peachygirl · 02/02/2006 18:13

Hi just popping over to say Hi to Coriander (and everyone else too)
How are you sorry we all missed you when you posted on the feb thread. Its all grown into a monster thread!!!
I'm fine still just dabbling my toes in it all really

trace2 · 02/02/2006 18:15

hi corri, we miss you, and helo everyone else too

sabrinaandjayden · 02/02/2006 20:17

thanks for clearing that up hellkat.

appyday · 03/02/2006 11:17

Good Morning everyone (I hope). Feeling sick and tired as usual, but developing a strong desire for toast and marmite, last time it was cheese, which is why I put on over a stone in the 1st 3 months. This time I'm holding steady so far, although boobs are just starting to turn into balloons. Pre DD I was 36a. up to 40d, down to 38b post DD, so God knows where I'll end up this time.
Mabel - yes I'm constipated, too, gonna crack open the prunes soon.

compo · 03/02/2006 13:43

I'm still being sick about twice a day!! Just went out for lunch and steak pie as I think I need the iron. Managed to keep it down so far. Have you all had Emma's Diary yet? I picked up the free mums-to-be pack from Boots today and there is a free packet of All-Bran in that for all those constipated!!

appyday · 03/02/2006 14:02

Told doc Iwas pg 2 weeks ago but only silence since. Thought I may have had some acknowledgement from MW so starting to worry now. Doesn't feel quite real until the official ball is rolling IYKWIM.

mabel1973 · 03/02/2006 14:46

thank for that compo - will dash down to Boots! Although I have been on the dried apricots all afternoon - they should move things along a bit surely!
Appyday I would phone the surgery and maybe even ask them for the midwifes number and call her yourself, there's no reason why they wouldn't let you have her number. How many weeks are you now?

compo · 03/02/2006 15:03

I'm the same appyday. I'm 8 weeks +3 and haven't heard anything. I want to know when my scan is!!!

appyday · 03/02/2006 15:17

Thank God for that compo, I was starting to feel a little left behind by all the others. Desperste to get going now. Can't even get myself into healthy eating mode as it doesn't seem real. Poor little thing, At this point with DD I was an exercising (gently), fruit and vegging freak, just can't get motivated this time. [Rubs tummy apologetically]. Can't even get excited over names, although we only had 1 choice for a girl and none agreed for a boy last time, good job we had DD!

Coriander73 · 03/02/2006 16:12

Scan through for 23rd Feb although I've had to change it to the 28th as away. Feel low today as DH has gone skiing to Canada for 10 days so home alone with DD feeling queasy...what joy!!

Trace, am keeping an eye on you all!! Hope you join us soon..

appyday · 03/02/2006 16:31

Just phoned surgery, they don't have a record of a referral from the doc, so have booked me in with the MW for 9 Feb. Hurrah, am excited now.

trace2 · 03/02/2006 16:33

heelo compo , corrie and appyday, dont forget to put your 12scan pics up
