Congratulations Pam on the baby boy, Sugarkane on the pups (dogs make it look so easy!) and devon on the new baby snuggles!
babycarmen I'd definitely get checked out too - better to disturb the midwife over nothing than to risk it.
m1nn1e - Hope you feel better soon. Could be anaemia. I had a fainting spell when I had it too.
Sounds like most of us are moving into the uncomfortable stage now. I got hardly any sleep last night and my costochondritis has flared up again big time. Ended up in A&E today when one of my ribs got stuck and cracked. Unfortunately I have a tiny cough in the evenings too at the moment so they freaked out that I may have a pneumathorax. I had to have a chest x-ray before anyone would believe me that it was just my costochondritis causing my rib to crack!
Just realised that I keep coming on here with bad things - I'm not usually this miserable! Promise!
I had a lovely week staying with my nan in Birmingham last week (she is recovering very well though still a little bruised) and then my Dad in Oxford. Went to my friend's baby shower - had such a great night - even if it was alcohol free! ha!
Starting my aquanatal classes next week and I can't wait. Got my tankini all ready - just need to remember to wash it beforehand.
Also found out today that my favourite contract is going to be doubled from next month - hooray!
Going to add a few of you on FB now if you get any strange requests from someone named Laura! You can add me too if you'd like: www.facebook.com/lketley
Hope you all sleep well tonight.

InnocentRedhead · 28/10/2011 09:59

Morning everyone. I have added those new people on FB.

PamBeesly, got you now, got my privacy settings set quite high, so I am also unsearchable on my name if you type it in search bar. I have to protect myself from someone in RL.

Again, no chance to do personals, but found out my NCT classes are going to cost only £42 so really quite pleased at that :) and will be booking today!

Hope you are all well.

Be back on today for definite!!!

Xavielli · 28/10/2011 10:27

Think I've added everyone on facebook but if I missed anyone I am www.facebook.com/RuthEBrennan

DS2 will be 1 year old tomorrow! I am soooooooooooooooooo excited! More so than I get about my own birthday. I have so much to do though and titch kept me up for the vast majority of last night kicking my bladder. Joy!

My little neice was born early this morning by emergency section. DN was undiagnosed breech and SIL got to pushing stage before it was picked up so not the nice natural delivery she wanted but the baby is doing well and looks just like her mother.
Won't be able to go and visit until Sunday and that feels like agggges away- I'm far too impatient!

Aww how lovely Grin glad all was well in the end.

BillComptonstrousers · 28/10/2011 17:04

Been to see the midwife this morning, she checked my urine and said there was sugar in it and they would keep an eye on it, she said it may be from the fruit and fibre I had for my breakfast Confused

I'm having loads of braxton hicks the last couple of days, really taking my breath away!

Congrats on the new niece devon

hermionejgroooaaanger · 28/10/2011 17:31

Oooh I remember now - I had a question. It's a bit of a TMI...

Pre-pregginess I used to get sort of "shooting pains" up my...erm...back passage on the day before my period. But I've had the same kind of pain the last couple of days - and I don't know why. It's not constant by any stretch of the imagination - just comes on suddenly and lasts for a minute and then goes away. But when it's there it takes my breath away. And I was sat on the loo at work today (not straining or anything!) and it happened and I went "oooh". I can't really describe it any other way than the "shooting pains" thing. Any ideas? Not really worried as such - it's just that it's different!

melliebobs · 28/10/2011 17:36

OMG those who suffered with morning sickness, after the day i've had I don't know how you did it day after day! Was sick 3 times whilst i was at work, so embarrassing when I kept having to excuse myself when i was supposed to be doing someone's gym induction. Feel dog ruff now, my 'bump' feels like it's been battered and bruised both on the inside and out, all the muscles across my waistband feel like they've ripped and it's agony to stand up strait or walk. I went for a swim this afternoon and whilst I was in the water i was so much more comfortable, but pip would only let me have half an hour cos typically I then needed the toilet! Eugh moan over

PDog · 28/10/2011 18:20

Hello, just added some of you to Facebook. I couldnt message all of you to tell you who I am so this is me. www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=715477617.

Have to get a very tired and grumpy DD to bed now so will come back later to chat and add the rest of you.

QueenFee · 28/10/2011 21:17

Mellie sorry your feeling poorly there are lots of bugs going round :(

Hermoine can't say i've experienced that, however I get all my pre period symptoms during pregnancy.

Devon congrats, lovely to have a baby to snuggle! My friends twins are due in jan so will get some tiny baby snuggles in there. My sister felt my baby kicking this week :)

I have finally bought storage bags and have gone through all my 0-2yr clothes, and the newborn stuff in the drawers. I found some early baby stuff my nephew had so will give that to my friend as my babies usually barely fit newborn!

I had a lovely long lie last day of the hols might as well make the most of it!
Going to have some Nachos, these have been a staple diet this pg!

TheWicketKeeperIsDown · 28/10/2011 21:57

melliebobs, some of us STILL are :( :( :(

Sitting in bed feeling sick, heartburny and sorry for myself. And working this weekend. Pah.

omigod I have just nearly wet myself laughing at this thread. Can't work out whether it is an offshoot of the drunk thread, or an "in" joke or what...
Am I going to get deleted for posting about another thread?

Squiglettsmummy2bx · 29/10/2011 11:36

Can't do personals on silly phone but sorry to hear about those of you still feeling sick. I'm glad that all my bad symptoms have gone although I just painted my toe tails & now have baby stuck in my rib cafe suffocating me or at least that is how it feels.
My Facebook is Charlene read if anyone wants to add me Smile

Squiglettsmummy2bx · 29/10/2011 11:41

Rib cage obviously, I don't have a rib cafe although mmmmmm ribs, lol.
I saw a post about shooting pains that reminded me yesterday squiglett had the hiccups & it felt weird in my private bits Blush glad I was home at the time as it made me squirm a bit Blush

littlemonkeybix · 29/10/2011 13:30

Kayano · 29/10/2011 15:45

No babies due anytime between now and my due date so there shall be no snuggles for me Sad

Not until has arrived. Pretty much resigned myself to this name now. Also Sad

I am now having issues walking and DH says my face in now in a permanent state of Angry whenever I stand or walk. Need to get help for this stat

babycarmen · 29/10/2011 17:30

Kayano Why :( about 'Sophie'? (Sorry im sure youve said before i probably just cant remember!) Its a lovely name! :) Is it your back causing trouble? Hope you get it sorted soon, mines been annoying me the last couple of days.

So whats everyones Halloween plans? If any?
I took DD down to Asda today to get a broom and hat to go with her costume, im going to take her out trick-or-treating on Monday night for the first time, she will probably go all shy and not speak though!
Monday is going to be super busy being DDs birthday and all.. Were not having a party this year thank GOD, i so couldnt cope with that right now.. But we will be opening presents, waiting for my mum, going to Lunar Land (big play centre thing in the bowling alley) then MacDs then home to visitors and then out trick-or-treating, THEN up super early to go on the train for 2 hours to find out if were team blue or pink YAY, Grin And breathe...

mummymccar · 29/10/2011 18:08

Devon & Little - congratulations on the new baby cuddles! It'll be us soon! Can't believe how fast this 6 months has gone. Xmas will be here before we know it too and only a hop later we'll have our babies!

Sorry so many of you are feeling rubbish. I've been getting very bad back pain too since Thursday. It has come on so suddenly that I'm struggling to walk or stand for too long now. Was getting worried it may be onset on SPD but it sounds like it may just be normal so I'll give the midwife a ring next week just to check but I'm not going to worry too much now.

No Halloween plans here other than hoping we don't get too many trick or treaters so that I can eat all of their chocolate :-D
Carved my pumpkin though and quite pleased with it - was going for a 'Night Before Christmas' style. Pics on my Facebook page of anyone wants to check it out. (link at top of page 36).

Sophie is a lovely name but if it doesn't feel right then it doesn't feel right! My family are trying to push us towards Elle which I love but it just doesn't feel like that is our daughter if you understand me?
