Sugarkane · 26/10/2011 21:33

Can I just run quickly through thread to say I have 4 beautiful tiny Bichon puppies here, mum is doing so so well.

Sorry about running off but hope to catch up later.

louby86 · 26/10/2011 21:43

Congratulations Pam

babycarmen I know how you feel, I'm living in the same outfits to the point where even DH commented. I don't really want to buy any more clothes if I can help it, don't really see the point if I can get away with it

deardear · 26/10/2011 22:08

hello fellow bumpies.

feel alot better today. spoke to my old boss about employment issues i am having. what will be will be. have also decided i am finishingn at christmas and not the middle of january

have just had a bargain on ebay as well. ASOS dress i saw on a link on here - £30 on the website and paid £12 for it!

really need new trousers for work/everyday. bump has grown loads over the last week or so and i cant get in my skinny jeans anymore. gutted! tempted just to go and buy the next size up from peacocks as they are only a tenner and eldest DD can wear them afterwards as they will be her size :) another few weeks and will just be in leggings as really cant be bothered.

good news on the boy pam. join the club!

melliebobs · 26/10/2011 22:15

Ok after that tea my bump may have appeared! Pip is now going mental at the amount of chillies I've eaten too!!

BillComptonstrousers · 26/10/2011 22:36

Congrats Pam I'm trying not to be too jealous! oh and thanks for the info about the feta as well, I had a small glass of red wine instead! I've been a bit naughty this week, had a bellini on saturday when I went to Jamie's Italian (celebrating after the scan!) then small glass of wine on sunday for the in-laws ruby wedding party!

Just been downstairs to get a glass of water to find my mother feeding the kids some jelly OUT OF A SAUCEPAN!

I have a zillion bowls in this house, why a bloody saucepan??? She is mental.

Don't mind the kids staying up late when she is here as they all have a huge lie in on a morning and I can get ready in peace and quiet.

Just booking a nice night away in Harrogate for me and DH, before I get too massive to actually enjoy it Grin

ZhenXiang · 26/10/2011 22:45

Hello everyone :)

Congrats on your boy Pam.

So we moved at the weekend, it took DH and friend from 9am Saturday till 10pm Sunday night with only two hours sleep on Sunday am. Found out on Saturday mid-way through move that landlord had gas meter removed so gas safety check on boiler could not be completed! New meter cannot be installed until Friday so have been staying away from home yet again Angry.

On plus side got a holiday for £30 and have had a great time staying in big country house with some other families for the last few days. We went http://www.alpinesnowsports.co.uk/ donutting today, which I could still do with my bump Grin. DD tired me and DH out. We had to drag her to the top of the smaller slope as she was too small to go with the big kids so she could join in the fun.

woowa · 26/10/2011 22:50

with a toddler, I'm living in maternity jeans and stretchy tops. Just can't be faffed with the nice stuff i wore last time, it'll only get food on it!

To sleep

26+1

woowa · 26/10/2011 22:52

ps congrats sugarkane on your FOUR new babies!!

QueenFee · 27/10/2011 04:12

Jeans and a top here too. Non maternity maxi dresses also seem to work well, very comfy!

I survived the night last night with all the kids, but have just been woken by ds2 and now I can't get back to sleep. I get this a lot at the mo yet normally sleep isn't a problem for me. Roll on the newborn days when those lovely night breastfeeds make you all sleepy and so easy to drop back off again.

On the plus side little bubs here is now viable!

24+1

Oh and how lovely sugarcane, they will keep you busy!

Sugar80 · 27/10/2011 07:00

Sugarkane congratulations on the pupsters!

Bill I've also been a bit naughty this week - small glasses of wine on Friday, Monday and yesterday. Oops. Been trying to stick to one a week or less.

Pam congratulations on your boy!

Having a nightmare week at work - meant to be 9-5 and I haven't left before 7 or had a lunch all week.. Seriously considering throwing an "I can't do this anymore" type strop, but know it wouldn't do me any favours in the long run :( Only two more days til the weekend... and I've been recruiting my maternity cover, so the end must be in sight, just, in the distance!!

Squiglettsmummy2bx · 27/10/2011 07:53

A quick hello to everyone, still here & bump getting bigger & wigglier every day Grin
It's half term so loving having my dc at home.
Hope everyone is good x

littlemonkeybix · 27/10/2011 08:10

Yay boy for pam
Yay puppies for sugarkane
Boo for clothing nazis (otherwise known as shops!)

Good grief, the pool was soooo cold last night for aquanatal... I feel muscles that are sore as a result of being tense the whole time!!

Struggling to drag myself out of bed this morning... Roll on Friday!! (Zzzzz)

melliebobs · 27/10/2011 08:22

ooo i'll try find the link later but on moneysavingexpert.com theres a code for 50% off online on H&M

phlossie · 27/10/2011 09:03

Morning!

Congrats to the Bichon Bitch, Sugarkane! Hope she's ok. I'm glad I'm not having a litter...!

And congrats on the boy pam! (I think I did those congrats in the wrong order!)

I've been away on a course, and was so looking forward to staying in a B&B and sleeping in. But did I? Did I eff! Woke up at 1.05am and didn't get back to sleep until after 5.30am. No pillow for between my legs, VERY active baby and I was going over and over various house options in my head. Very annoying.

I spent the afternoon in a cold pool monkey - I was on a lifeguard course - so I feel your pain.

Off to Brighton tomorrow to see my bro. We're taking him and his fiancee to check out wedding venues. Exciting.

louby86 · 27/10/2011 11:49

Congratulations on the puppies sugarkane I bet they're so cute! Hope you're not too busy with everything going on

Hello everyone else feeling a bit rough today after hardly any sleep, hopefully I can have a snooze on the sofa at some point before DH gets home and wants to go out.

babycarmen · 27/10/2011 12:16

Congrats on the pups sugar!

Baby has the hiccups right now and giving me some good old kicks in the cervix. Lovely!

25+3

PamBeesly · 27/10/2011 14:01

diedandgonetodevon · 27/10/2011 16:33

I just have to come and hide in here for a moment while i squeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!.
My SIL is in labour and I'm a little bit over excited. Not long till I get some squishy new born baby snuggles Grin

25 weeks today

PamBeesly · 27/10/2011 16:43

Ooooh devon I'll be keeping an eye for news!

littlemonkeybix · 27/10/2011 16:46

devon give them a squish from me too!! I am just waiting to see when we can visit DP's neice. She popped out her DC3 which is DS1 on Monday morning Grin

I got all hormonally angry today... I won't bore you all (everyone cheers) as it was just a nobhead in work... and they were wrong and I was right.... and they replied all to tell me I was wrong, so I replied all to correct them... Monkey wins [smug]

Now... I am hungry, but totally non-plussed.... What's for tea folks?! I need ideas!

babycarmen · 27/10/2011 20:16

Argh i feel like rubbish. Head feels all funny, hands are aching coz theyre all swollen and i just dont feel right :( Had a moan to DP but all i get from him is "Go to bed then" Meh, i dont WANT to go to bed. Although i probably will soon. Amazing how 2 pregnancys can be so different. DDs was so easy and this one so far is a nightmare, hyperemesis, SPD... harumph.

Moan over Grin

m1nn1em0u5e · 27/10/2011 21:34

Babycarmen, I would get checked out, especially your BP, could be signs of Pre-Eclampsia....I feel rotten today, had a funny dizzy/fainting episode last night which ended up with my cracking my head on the door frame, really dont know what happened! Spoke to Midwife who thinks I may be anaemic, so im going for bloods done & have been told to get myself to labour ward if it happens again....so tired!..Dont know how I will get through a day at work tomorrow, I have barely moved off the couch all day, just chilled with my 2 ds's who have been soooo good all day!..bless them :)

InnocentRedhead · 27/10/2011 21:42
