Hi all,

Ses - glad you don't have too much longer to wait for a scan

Kay - hope you have a better night tonight.

Tink - glad you got some more orders, are you still delivering books or having a few days off?

Diege - LOL at your valentines babies Grin.

I've spent most of the weekend helping a friend of DPs with their payroll, accounts and VAT returns to get a bit of experience for this bookkeeping lark. It all seems fairly straightforward really - I'm already familiar with spreadsheets and figures and analysis programs through work. Just need to do the exams then find some customers - simple Hmm. I've been sleeping loads too which might be the pregnancy or just the result of a couple of busy weeks. No other symptoms yet - no sore boobs, nausea etc.

Off to bed now - night night all.

Kayzr · 26/09/2011 06:02

Wahoooo!!! DS2 has just woken up so we slept all night Grin

GingerbreadGiraffe · 26/09/2011 07:28

Hi everyone

Lovely to see so much chat here again Grin

Been away on hols so back at work today Booooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

Ses- hooray for sore boobs and countdown to scan. Got all possible limbs crossed for you.

Rugby- great to hear that your DP was so happy and positive re the BFP Smile

Kayz- sounds like the ovulation timing will be good... Think I will be later than this weekend looking at my phone app thing. I tend to have longish cycles but hopefully won?t be too far behind Grin
Hooray for good sleeping!

Diege- sorry for SPD, its miserable and I cannot imagine dealing with that whilst having 4 DCs to look after. Pizza party sounds fun though. :)

Hi everyone else :)

Really not happy about being back at work. Got to deal with team member who has MAJORLY cocked something up. I hate doing (and I?m bad at) doing the ?nasty boss? thing but I am so furious with him..... I might well fling him off the roof Hmm The scale of the error is enough, in theory, to put my job in jeopardy, so I am also expecting a roasting from my bosses today Sad

Back laters.

tinkbig · 26/09/2011 16:01

Kayzr · 26/09/2011 19:26

Ginger, I hope work went better than you expected. Smile

Rugby, I'm glad you seem to be finding something for work. Would you set up a business or work for someone else?

Ses, scan isn't too far away now. Smile

My SIL to be is due in 5-6 weeks. She's having a CS so will soon know the date their DD will be born Grin plus DPs friends DP is expecting in 7 weeks so there seems to babies everywhere!!

cantmummyhaveabreak · 26/09/2011 21:24

Diege, just seen you have SPD problems... I suffered from 12wks with dd3 & pg4... Sadly still suffering with it now, over 6m later. I coped by doing all the things suggested already... Do be warned that after the birth your bones changing is pretty painful, so dont be shocked by it, the main pain and discomfort only lasts a week or so, sadly mine has continued but I'm told its rare to continue like this (lucky me eh?)

I thought I'd posted with contests for ses & rugby but cant seem to see my post... Hope all is well :)

Super tired so off to bed now, but wanted to post and say hi. :)

tinkbig · 27/09/2011 11:17

morning Wink

went to tesco this morn and picked up betteware books

poor u cant !!

Diege · 27/09/2011 11:40

Hello! Not too well here - in bed with sinusitus since sunday, has really knocked me for six! At least pelvis s a little better with the enforced rest Hmm
Thanks for the heads-up CANT - I'd far rather know of anything that might crop up with spd post-birth. Are you having any treatment for your ongoing probs? How are things with dh?
SES, I know scans are so nervewracking, esp with our history, but you must think positively - I really do think things will be ok this timexx
KAYZ, all those babies plus impending ovulation must add up to a bfp this month for you!
GING, how did work go?
TINK, enjoy your day, and forthcoming hols - sounds fun.

Kayzr · 27/09/2011 15:11

Do any of you ever get that ovulation pain? I've had a few little twinges today but shouldn't ov til Sunday. But it feels in the right place.

We were going to try that shettles method for a girl but that means no GOF on DPs birthday which I'm beginning to think is a bit mean. Grin

Diege · 27/09/2011 16:38

Hi Kayz, yes get ov pain here and it does happen 3 days or so before actual ov for me (based on my temping). Think it's the follicles ripening to release an egg you feel, hence the pain, although I could be well off there Blush
Going to force myself to get up now and have a bath - lying in bed has driven me to splurge on mini boden on the laptop, and feeling a bit of shopper's remorse. Just watched an old episode of One Born Every Minute which has also brought it all back - what have I done!!!

Diege · 27/09/2011 16:41

Oh and on Shettles method, we've never actually followed it but looking back at likely conception dates it does seem to follow a boy pattern the last 2 times and girl for the first three Hmm. I think if you made it up to dp in other ways (ie. lots of goffing on 'girl' days) you could be forgiven for a barren birthday Grin

Kayzr · 27/09/2011 18:49

Diege I have promised he can have something else on his birthday Wink

We would be just as happy with a boy but I would love to have a girl and a bit of pink in the house.

SESthebrave · 28/09/2011 08:01

Morning all - it's Wednesday!!!! The delights of Jo Jingles and scallywags soft play await :)

Diege - really sorry to hear you've been feeling so rubbish. Hope you're feeling lots better this morning.

Kayz - I'm not sure about the Shettles method but I guess it's worth a try. My last pregnancy, I'm sure was conceived from the GOF the day before ovulation but I now know would have been a girl. This one was definitely conceived the day before ovulation according to all signs so will have to wait and see!

Cant - hello! How's things? Is work any better for your DH?

Hello everyone else - hope you have a good day :)

Diege · 28/09/2011 09:15

Morning SES! Feeling a bit better again today, which is a good job as I am sooo behind with work and need to get various things sorted before going on leave. It would help if they had a replacement sorted (still 'pending') Hmm
Enjoy Jo Jingles! Not sure if I said, but our JJ leader had a mutiny on her hands as she started telling off the babies (and mums/dads) if they got off our knees and started walking around. Try explaining that to an 18mth old...In the end I (and others) found it too stressful and left, which is a shame as the dds had been there and we had quite a JJ history...At a lovely church group now instead with ds loves. How are you feeling at the momnet?
KAYZ, I can sort of imagine what dh's treat will be Grin. Rather you than me is all I will say Grin
Off to an antental physio session today put on at the local hospital...looks at exercising etc during and after pregnancy, positions for labour etc...Might be a tad dull but booked it ages ago and have been strangely looking forward to it. IN physio dept so sure I can crib a few hints about managing the spd.
Love to all x

Rugbylovingmum · 28/09/2011 09:36

Morning all,

Ses - enjoy JJ and soft play. Sounds much more fun than my day at work!

Kayz - I'm sure DP will be happy with his 'birthday treat' Wink. It'll be interesting to see if the shettles method works for you.

Diege - glad you are feeling a bit better Smile. I hope your physio session is interesting and you get lots of good SPD tips. I can't believe your work haven't sorted out any cover for you yet - how long until you finish?

Well the symptoms are starting here - sore boobs and a bit of nausea but the worst thing is I am sooooooo tired. Went to bed at 9.30 last night and didn't get up until 7 but still feel as though I could go for a nap. DP is worried it means I'm having twins Grin but I think it's probably because I am so overweight and out of shape Sad. I've been eating better and lost half a stone over the last month but I can't find the time to exercise. Between job hunting, doing my course, finishing up at work etc I'm struggling to find any spare time. I'm a bit worried the midwife will have a go about my weight but there's not much I can do about it now - I'm eating well but this isn't the time for a diet. I'm just aiming to put as little on as possible and stay healthy.

Diege · 28/09/2011 09:59

Hi RUGBY! Try and rest as much as you can - the tiredness of early pregnancy is so draining, I don't envy you! Tis is good in terms of sugns that your body is doing what it should though. Don't worry about weight. Iirc they do ask you pre-pregnancy weight in order to calculate your BMI, and if it's over 30 (35 some places) may refer you to the consultant. All a bit mad really. I think I did fib a bit and take half a stone or so off my weight, so now of course it looks like I've put tons on Blush (3 stone!!!)
Re: mat leave I actually finish tomorrow, so unless I hover over my e-mails for another week or so my 'replacement' will be truly stuffed....still thinking over my strategy here...

Kayzr · 28/09/2011 10:10

I don't think everyone who has had a girl didn't have GOF on ov day or the day before. So hopefully we have a chance for a girl anyway. I'm not sure I want to risk the chance of not getting pg and then having to wait another 2 cycles to be able to try again.

Kayzr · 28/09/2011 10:20

Rugby, I'm still overweight. I blame DP cos I had lost 3 stone and I've put 2 back on since we've been together. I was over 15 stone when I got PG with DS2 and they never said anything about it. I'm dreading early pregnancy, I'm always pretty tired, not sure why as I've had loads of blood tests. So many in fact I'm convinced my GP is a vampire Grin so I know I'll be worse when I'm pregnant.

Diege, that's insane that they haven't sorted out your cover yet!!!

I'm using the iPhone app which is great but I can't remember what I wanted to say to people so I'm sorry for loads of posts Grin

Kayzr · 28/09/2011 10:21

Ses, hope you have fun this morning Smile

tinkbig · 28/09/2011 10:22

MORNING

oops didnt mean to use caps!! Blush

good luck kay Grin

poor u diege - good shopping Grin what did you buy?
glad you are on the mend

hi ses and rugby Grin

just delivered 23 books this morning
now at home playing with dd2

Kayzr · 28/09/2011 13:35

It's too hot!!!!

Just did an OPK and it's got a really faint line on it which apparently means ov should be in the next 7 days so I'll have to keep doing them.

MarmiteIloveYou · 29/09/2011 06:58

HI Everyone

Diege- glad you are feeling a bit better. Hope SPD has benefited from the rest.

Kayz- hooray for +ve OPK. 

Ses- hope you enjoyed day off. How are symptoms?

Rugby- hope you are doing ok? Any idea how many weeks you are yet?

Work thing sorted ? kind of. Team member got the message. I now will need to wait to see if I will have an issues with this in future. It?s the sort of thing that will be levied against me at a performance review if someone wished... time will tell Hmm

Hi Latour

Waves to everyone

GingerbreadLatte · 29/09/2011 07:00

Crap- done it again. Oh well.

MN is doing weird stuff with paragraphs

tinkbig · 29/09/2011 09:11

morning

kay yah for opk Grin

marmite glad sorted

Rugbylovingmum · 29/09/2011 10:04

Morning Ginger, I'm glad the work thing is at least kind of sorted and I hope it doesn't come up again. Is your line manager likely to use it in the future or just move on? I'm still not sure how many weeks I am and won't really have a better idea until the scan but I'm guessing about 6 weeks.

Diege - how was your physio session yesterday? Have you decided what you are going to do about work?

Kayz - glad opk sticks are looking good for the weekend. Have you decided to ditch the shettles method and just opt for lots of GOFing to increase your chances?

Morning Tink - what are you up to today?

Hi Ses - hope you had a lovely day yesterday.

DD was in a very odd mood this morning Hmm. She wouldn't put her clothes on then decided she wanted to wear dress+skirt+PJ top+Tshirt+leggings+shorts+cardi combo and had a mini tantrum when I put half the clothes away and told her to pick a dress or a skirt. Then she refused to eat any breakfast but once she was in the car demanded toast+butter+jam+porridge+banana+apple+orange+pear and was very put out that I only had a banana with me Grin. She's usually very easy going so no idea what got into her but sure the nursery will have fun with her today Grin.
