Been to the Dr's today about my cough and asthma. Thankfully I don't have a chest infection it's just asthma and a sore throat. So I now have an in-date ventolin, and a preventative spray to take twice a day.
I haven't needed a preventative for my asthma for years and the doctor was a bit reluctant to prescribe it as it's a steroid but when he realised I was needing to take my ventolin every 2 hours during the day and a couple of times at night he decided it probably was required. My GP surgery is a training practice so we have a lot of recently qualified doctors who aren't yet GP's they're very thorough, but very cautious too. It does make you feel well looked after though. :)
Only 2 more days at work, although with all the coughing I've done today, and the number of people asking if I should be in work I might make tomorrow a short day and do some work from home. I have to go in on Wednesday though. I've made cakes!!!
BB3 no doubt the last thing on your mind now, and it may be too late anyway, but try Tesco for car insurance. They don't show up on the comparison sites, but for me they came out £200 cheaper than anywhere else, 15% discount if you have a clubcard.
We're also having storage issues. We have 1 chest of drawers for LO which is currently in DD's room with all the clothes we had for DD (we only ever used 2 drawers, and the top drawer is nappy changing stuff. The "nursery" is an office, and will be for about 6 months, then my Dad will build some fitted wardrobes.
1 chest of drawers was plenty for DD, that's still all she has... but we've been given so much stuff by friends who've decided their families are complete. I have 2 big Ikea bags of clothes... all newborn or 0-3... all neutral colours. Plus promises of more when we know what flavour it is. I'm drowning white baby clothes!
