Very surprised, had only SWI once and I thought we had missed the window of opportunity. It seems not, BFP yesterday, royal wedding treat. EDD about 2nd Jan I think.

#2 for me, keeping fingers tightly crossed as had a bumpy ride before conceiving DS. Very excited and slightly terrified. :)

giraffe go to doctor and get some peppermint capsules and some mebeverine. Works a treat :-)

giraffe, apparently - incredibly - peppermint oil is out: it is a 'uterine stimulant' (!)

d0gFace I'm with you on that one; all my bras are too small and taking them off at night is most uncomfortable, and leaves me with big red marks. Lovely. Haven't bought any more yet but I guess I'm going to have to get measured and invest in some new ones. I started at a 34 B though so still have room to go in high street bras. It must be rubbish not being able to find anything.

I'm struggling with bras 42 g so might try our big M&S which carry bigger lines. Mothercare is out and so are other places to I still wear my original ones which I will change over once I get to 12 weeks.

d0gFace - bra troubles here too and I'm washing and wearing one as I'm sure I'm going to be buying more soon and can't bear to waste the money. I had to give up beloved underwired lace balconettes for white cotton harness of awfulness. Harness doesn't leave red welts so it seems the only choice for now. Mine is by Royce and their website has sizes up to a JJ cup so perhaps worth a look?

My nausea so awful I left work early today as retching at my desk feels so embarrassing. I didn't feel so bad with dd so mw reckons it's a boy. Strangely dd is telling everyone (literally anyone who stands still near us, strangers and all) that I'm having a boy and he's called Thomas. We've tried to tell her that we'll pick the name but she's not budging.
Sleepywombat - it's grey drizzle and cardigan weather here, what's it like over there? Maybe you could leave dh a little note next year to remind him in good time - purely to save his embarrassment of course!
And does eating local honey work for hayfever or is that an old wives tale?

Had a look at the site but cant work out what size I am, did the measurement thing and it came up as 36C. Im either a weird shape or dp is crap at measuring. Think il try for some cheap bra's from Peacocks in a 38E and see how it goes.

Bras:
No BIG issues yet although have noticed that maybe cup size has increased slightly. Boobs were just too painful in bed so I bought two sleep bras from Mothercare. They are so comfy, I wore one at work today.

Holidays:
I have a holiday booked to Madeira on 15th August for 2 weeks. We have a time share so go every year during the same week. We're having a 2nd week at a different apartment we booked privately. I'll be 19 weeks + 3 days when I leave so I bought some Maternity clothes last Friday as I was worried that I may not be able to buy any closer to the time.

Booking in appointment:
It's tomorrow! 2:30pm at my local Children's centre. Hopefully they'll have a scan date ready for me. Really nervous but during the last week I have been feeling VERY pregnant. Tiredness has got to me and I'm finding that I need a nap in an afternoon but as a teacher of 5 & 6 year olds, that is not possible! What is worse is that it is 'report season'. I have 29 reports to write on top of the planning, marking, assessments, resource making/gathering, sports days to consider and a HUGE Opera that the school is involved in at the local theatre on 14th, 15th and 16th July. The guy who wrote the stage play 'Billy Elliott' is writing it for us/Opera North called 'Beached'. Exciting stuff but exhausting.

Hi all, hope you are all doing ok! Wow, it's getting really difficult to keep up with this thread. So exciting to know there are so many of us!

I've been suffering with hayfever - really itchy eyes and throat mostly. Anyway I saw the MW today and she mentioned something called Prevalin which is apparently new and safe during pregnancy / breastfeeding. It's not cheap - £9.99 apparently - but I'm going to try it and will report back.

Pregnancy wise - nausea comes and goes, mostly when I need to eat something. Boobs definitely bigger but less saw. And the midwife confirmed today that the revolting indgestion I've been having is normal - doesn't make me feel better but it does excuse the unladylike burping!

I mean sore, of course. Pregnancy brain kicking in...

Hey everyone! We have just got home after our trip to London and scan. There is one little embie in there very strong heartbeat, everything is where it needs to be and all is present and correct.

Havent had a chance to read the latest coments so ill go through and read them.

Just a quick question, I am now 7+3 and today I sneezed and it felt like someone had stabbed me where the scan showed to embie to be. I was just wondering if anyone else had had something similar?

Hi all - can I join - 8 weeks ish today (8+2 by LMP, 8 by LMP 30 day cycle, 7+6 by scan and 7+5 by ovulation date - who knows???)
Had private scan on Saturday - all looks good - measuring 7+4 then with good strong HB, position good - at the top!
BBS sore and nausia started with avengeance on Friday - worse in evening - atfer 1700 - perfect for the journey home - sucking lemon sweets and praying traffic clear. Still really bloated (since week 4!) and v tired since last week. CLothes getting tight - think am putting on weight not bump- but can't face the scales..................think might go to bed now - is late enough!!!

Sorry for all the sufferers but it is good to know I'm not alone :o Hayfever is just so horrible, we were out late Friday and Saturday evenings, Fri on a hill and Sat in beer garden, I wore my sunglasses until I could not see the people I was with anymore!! Must have looked silly but needs must!!

I have a soft bra from Matalan that I got last PG, going to try and get some more as they are so comfy for in the house and sleeping, but wouldn't want to wear them out and about (bounce, bounce!!).

Browncoats I am doing my best to not moan about any niggles I'm getting, although the tiredness is kind of just showing me up, as struggling to hold a conversation at times!!

Spagbolagain I have never heard of PG wartiness, but who knows stranger things have happened!! Those hormones do some weird things!!

We're going to Majorca next Thursday for 10 days, found out PG day after we'd booked it, feel a bit nervous about it tbh, but it will be good to just be able to relax and DH be there to help with DS all the time, so I'm sure it will be fine :)

hiya all, have spent the day in hospital with low blood presure not good. but they did do an early scan and baby is fine and im 7 weeks pregnant!!!!!

dogface I wish I was having bra issues. I went up a cup size with Dd but havent changed at all this time. Much to Dp disappointment.

giraffe happy anniversary. Good luck dress shopping, let us know how you get on. I have a wedding in early July (15/40) and have no idea what to wear.

mum2be79 I know how you feel as I am teacher but the tiredness hasn't kicked in with me yet haven't told anyone at work yet. The opera thing sounds fantastic how exciting!

weevie I am scared to sneeze or fart incase I damage my insides and yeah get little sharp pain afterwards think it's nothing to worry bout.

Mummaroo I didn't mean you shouldn't moan! I definitely think you should . I'm so with you on the tiredness, it gets to about 3pm and I just want to go to bed for the rest of the afternoon.

I'm very of those of us who are going on holidays! shonnomanom I haven't been abroad since DS was born either. I'm still debating on whether we should go camping this year, might speak to the MW when I see her tomorrow.

i have moved myself and although i have a edd of 28th Dec 11 - i dont think baby will come at that time so am still staying here in jan 12 thread!
I have changed my Scan date form friday 17th to monday 20th - so i can still enjoy paris and then come and see my baby's first tv appereance!!!!!!
Now passed the 10 weeks - and not feeling so ill now, so thank god theres light at the end of the 1st few weeks!

weevie I've had exactly the same thing after sneezing - I wonder if it is something to do with ligaments loosening? To me it feels around the attachment point of one of my hip flexors which I've had trouble with before. Hope it's not a sign that everything is starting to go all wibbly; I was hoping to go several more weeks before I had to worry about that!

As for the nausea, it's all day for me but I can easily be distracted from it if I'm exercising - had a great evening at a match last night, no nausea at all! Unfortunately I'm so tired that it's hard work making myself run around. For me I seem to get most uncomfortable when I'm hungry or I've just eaten. I think the answer is more frequent and smaller meals, but I'm really struggling to fit this in to my day. Tonight I'll be out from 6pm to about 9.30pm so I may try to have a bit to eat before I go and just a little something when I get back.

browncoats I love camping and cant wait to take dd, but dp is not an outdoor person

Dd and Dn were horrible little girls this morning, encourging each other to be naughty and refusing pointblank to eat their breakfast. Not a good start to the morning. Fortunatly their now away for the day with my parents.
Unfortunatly I now need to do my accounts

Hi everyone, sick again this morning blah!

dogface bra issues! I tried on 3 this morning, my boobs feel like dead weights and are so sore, I just wanted to plunge them into ice this morning! Im whipping the damn thing off as soon as I can every night and wearing a vest with one of those secret panels inside.

Bighotmama Im flying to Tunisia at the start of July and I will be 13 weeks pregnant. Im staying there for 8 weeks! I know I can get scan whilst Im away for £15. But I dont think the midwife will be too happy when I tell her tomorrow!

mumaroo I sympathize with you over your hayfever, I used to have it real bad, the only good thing I can say is that after having my first DD 10 years ago I have never suffered from hayfever since lets hope this happens to you :)
