Anybody else out there?????
Very surprised, had only SWI once and I thought we had missed the window of opportunity. It seems not, BFP yesterday, royal wedding treat. EDD about 2nd Jan I think.

#2 for me, keeping fingers tightly crossed as had a bumpy ride before conceiving DS. Very excited and slightly terrified. :)

Hello
Really busy here today, so just checking in, and will be back later when dc are in bed, and dh is out! Welcome newbies!
Will catch up on all the new posts later - hope you are all well today!

scarlettsmummy2 · 21/05/2011 15:41

hi, I haven't read all the threads, but just for anyone who is worried about the bleeding, I had it on three separate days with my first baby when I was about seven weeks, not a huge amount, just like the last day of your period. My baby was absolutely fine so try not to panic!!

fifitrixabelle78 · 21/05/2011 17:24

Hey guys,
Thinking of everyone who's suffering at the moment - I think we must all be wondering if anything bad is going to happen to each of us, I know I am. Still keep knicker-checking daily.
Keep us posted with everyone's news. FX for everyone's scans.

ghosteditor · 21/05/2011 17:53

Hi guys and hello newbs, welcome to the list!

Apart from feeling tired (which is pretty usual for me) and the odd but of nausea and some weight gain I'm pretty much symptom free. I'm just assuming that all's ok for now - we're all different after all. Try not to worry too much ladies, ok? I'm at 6 weeks btw.

xkatyx · 21/05/2011 17:59

Hello everyone,

Can I join please :0) I am roughly 5+6 weeks

This is my 4th baby youngest is 4 months Shock

So feel free to ask any questions lol I have kind of had it all.

Gosh I feel huge already?! Just got out the shower (sorry tmi) and just thought YUCK I look discussing!!! Never got big at all with other babies I feel like I have put on a stone or something.

I feel like dejavu I was on last years jan thread too Smile

GiraffeAHolic · 21/05/2011 18:17

Evening everyone, welcome to all the new bumps :)

I am officially huge, dh is convinced that there are two in there Shock

Spontaneous unprovoked retching has arrived which seems exactly the same as I had with Dd, so a bit less concerned now.

Telling our closest friends tomorrow who are also dd's godparents, going out for Chinese lunch with them which should be fun as I'm still at the 'eat one bite and be stuffed' stage!

Glad peoples bleeding had subsided, can't help thinking about nanny though :(

Oh My God xkatyx you must be mad Grin or deserve a medal :)

Dh has gone to a BBQ this evening, so I am going to put Dd to bed and have a nice relaxing evening.

xkatyx · 21/05/2011 18:22

I think I am slightly mad, this little peanut is a very pleasant surprise me and dh still dont have a clue what happend as we had no accident!!
I was very shocked but after a few scares we have had (still not out the woods yet have a scan booked for Tuesday) it's made us realise that we want this baby, but it will be or last!!

I'm exhausted but I'm still feeding baby at night so think that has alot to do with it.

Just feel very uncomfy and fat!!!!

tummytickler · 21/05/2011 18:28

Welcome katy . Hope you are not too shattered!
This is no5 for us. I am so freaked out about this pregnancy, I was really relaxed with the other 4 dc, but convinced I am pushing my luck now - horrible feeling.
Still no news from nanny ?

xkatyx · 21/05/2011 18:33

Congratulations on baby number 5.

I also feel like I'm pushing my luck also my baby was premature so I'm really scared.
Nanny was on another thread but hasn't been back on to report. I hope everything is ok, hopefully all is well and she just hasn't had time to post.

You will have to give me tips on coping with 4, 3 really is fine I don't struggle at all. But 4 I think is going to be a huge jump.

shonnomanom · 21/05/2011 18:35

Wow katy! I take my hat off to you!! They do say that in the first few months its 'easier' to fall pregnant again. No t sure how though. Hmm

I sent a prviate message on MN to Nanny yesterday saying we were all thinking of her and hoped everyone is ok.

Got our scan date in Grin 20June, so I will be 12wks +1. Im 8 weeks tommorrow.

I think telling the family today and getting the scan date also has made it all very real. Actually starting to feel quite excited Smile

Dp wouldnt let me drive today because of the dizzy spells. Its really starting to get annoying now. And happening a few times in the day, everyday Sad

Hope everyone is hunkydory x

xkatyx · 21/05/2011 18:40

Thank you, contraception is a nightmare for us, ds8 I was taking the pill. Dd1 was planned. Then I fell pregnant from using condoms but I had a mc.
Then dd2 planned.. And well this one must be another condom failure!!! Dh going for the snip just can't risk getting pregnant again lol my body has had enough.

Dizzy spells are awful I have past out so many times in my pregnancy I don't know what caused it but I feel for you as they ate horrible and properly best you do avoid driving for a bit as they can just come out of know where.

shonnomanom · 21/05/2011 18:46

Youv had some time of it Katy. What ages are your chidlren?

I work with kids so im a bit concerned that I might pass out one day. So far - touch wood - I havent. How did you cope with the dizzy spells, any tips?

tummytickler · 21/05/2011 18:48

I really sympathise with the dizzy spells. When I was pregnant with both dd's I was so dizzy - I found it harder to deal with than the sickness. The dr can give some medication for dizziness in pregnancy if it gets too bad.

So envious of those with scan dates! I have my booking appointment the day after your scan shonnomanom so won't find out my scan date until way after that date!

xkatyx · 21/05/2011 18:53

Ds8, dd1. 5 dd2. 4 months

I worked with kids too lol babies and the nappy changing with sickness was awful.

I used to carry a bottle of water with ne everywhere and something to snack on. Also try not to stand for a long time, that's when I used to find myself going!!! Also keep tour self cool, for instance if it's cold out where vest top under jumper so You can wip it off.
The standing one was awful I passed out in next waiting in a que, proper out cold on the floor!! And also in pumpkin patch, I joked my dh put a curse on me everytime I went to buy something (smile)

P.s appologise for spelling I'm using my phone

d0gFace · 21/05/2011 19:10

Bellakins · 21/05/2011 21:47

Hello, can I join please? Firstly, congratulations to all!

I'm 6 weeks 2 days and this is my first pregnancy. Everything ok so far, in terms of symptoms. Boobs grown a cupsize already and have had lots of nausea for most of the last week.

Strange thing today was that the nausea has disappeared but I'm hoping some days will just be better than others and it'll come back? Anyone else experienced this? Thanks!

tummytickler · 21/05/2011 22:23

Welcome Bellakins it is really normal for symptoms to come and go. I have always just been glad to have a days respite from the sickness! I am sure it will be back soon enough, or replaced by something else!

xkatyx · 22/05/2011 09:20

Mamma5alive yeay someone else the same, I thought o was the only one. How old is your baby?

Hope everyone is feeling ok this morning.

shonnomanom · 22/05/2011 09:54

Morning all and welcome newbies!

Thanks for all the dizzyness advice ladies. Iv always got a bottle of water with me just now as its really the only liquid that im enjoying.

Enjoying a lazy day ay home in my pj's today. Gotta love quiet Sundays!

lily06 · 22/05/2011 11:12

Morning ladies,
Thanks for the lovely welcome. Will take me a while to remember all the names and everyones situations - this thread moves really fast!

5+3 today and not many symptoms yet. A few niggles and twinges, plus breasts starting to be a bit sore. Really hoping not to go up too many cup sizes as I'm starting off with a 34HH.
Those of you with morning sickness, do you remember roughly when it started?

tummytickler · 22/05/2011 11:48

Hi lily I have good sized boobs too (34F), and they are already feeling quite heavy. I want to hold off buying new bras for a while though, if I can. I have a feeling they are going to be a big expense over the next year. My old mat bras are just done for , I iwll bin them once I have had the scan, and buy some new ones.
I have no ms yet, but usually seems to start at around 6 weeks with me, I am already feeling a bit nauseas though.

Today I am visiting my parents, and trying to prepare for the morning sickness onslought, by getting through the washing, cooking for the freezer, and doing stuff with the dc, trying to buy myself some laying on the sofa time for later on!

What are you all up to today?

Deesus · 22/05/2011 12:37

I'm just chilling today. Don't seem to have any nausea but have put on weight, am v tired and boobs a bit sore. Think I'm about 7 weeks now....I've got an appointment with the midwife tomorrow - I'm looking forward to her confirming it's real Smile.

All feels a bit unreal at the moment to be fair - this is my first....me and DH were going to start ttc in july.....oh well, it's only a couple of months earlier than we planned!

Congrats to all the newbie on here! And for the mums who already have children I apologise in advance for bugging you with questions over the next 7/8 months! Wink

Spagbolagain · 22/05/2011 13:32

Went to church this morning, spent the whole time chasing DS around the back as he would not sit still. Knackering.

Have felt sick as a dog the last few days. But today, came across something very delicious and good for the nausea.... Del Monte 100%pure pineapple juice ice lollies, comes in a pack of 3. Really refreshing and delicious, and 1 of your 5a day apparently! May experiement with other ice lollies over the coming days....:o
