Morning Smile. Good to hear from you GRUFF; you are doing so well xx
STAR, that's great news about the op' - at least you have a date to focus on now , and don't give the meet-up another thought!
KAYZ, don't worry about too big age gap with dss' - the advantage is that they will (both?) be at school, will hopefully be able to help a bit (or at least play together out of sight!) plus you won't have double-nappies scenario!
TINKS, enjoy the concert on Sat!
DDs are very excited about the meet-up - Libby a bit anxious about being in London as older dds are winding her up a bit (she's wanting an wrist-strap thingy Hmm). We must think about fb soon to finalise details/exchange numbers etc..!!!
Oh and thrush was confirmed by swab, and have some very lovely pessaries and cream..so relieved it wasn;t anything more serious!

tinkbig · 07/07/2011 12:30

diege - glad just thrush hopefully it will go soon

good day here

Kayzr · 08/07/2011 22:14

Evening. Hope everyone is well. I've been shopping at Meadowhall today. That place is amazing!!!

DP got home from work at midnight last night so it's nice to be able to have some adult conversation. The boys were so excited when they woke up this morning Grin

Hope you're all having nice weekends

tinkbig · 10/07/2011 20:16

Good shopping KAYZ - not been there for years, bet it's super busy these days.
Only 2 weeks now till meet-up - would appreciate some tips/advice re: memorial gardens if this is still where we're meeting? Will be staying in hotel just off Edgware Rd, so directions etc great if poss' Smile. I'll start a new thread on wagon page book when I get the chance and get the ball rolling!

tinkbig · 11/07/2011 21:12

hi diege - thanku Grin

GruffaloSoldier · 11/07/2011 21:42

Hi everyone.

I have set up a thread on the facebook group so we can get sorted for the meet up!

Sorry I havent been on much. Boys keeping me busy. DS2 got silent reflux so am also battling that. He is losing weight now after doing so well in the beginning :( He is still exclusively breast fed. I am taking him back to be weighed tomorrow. He only just started meds though so i am hoping that he will improve now but know its not a sure thing.

I am doing ok. Just taking each day as it comes.

Tink - my sis has two TTers moving to the next street to her. Don't want to say who though in case it outs me!:)

Kayzr · 13/07/2011 20:07

Evening,

Gruff Sorry about the reflux problem. I've never experienced it myself but I've heard it can be really bad.

DP and I are having a chat tonight about my broodiness. I'm going to see about TTC in Nov and Dec and if it doesn't happen then we'll continue with the plan of TTC after the wedding. Slightly excited but if it does go ahead then I have to sell my wedding dress and buy a maternity one because I don't want to put wedding back.

Hope you are all well

tinkbig · 13/07/2011 20:50

hi kay thats exciting

good day here today

Kayzr · 14/07/2011 14:05

So we had the talk last night and we are ttc from September!!! Grin we're still hoping we can get married next year and we need a bigger house (going to look at one this afternoon that'd be perfect).

I am so so so excited!!!! I need to come off the pill and start temping and charting it as we want to try the shettles method for a girl. I figure we have nothing to lose by giving it a go.

Hope you're all well. Smile

tinkbig · 14/07/2011 16:02

kay - very exciting Grin

cantmummyhaveabreak · 15/07/2011 11:16

creeps in hoping no-one notices how long i've been AWOL

Hello everyone. Not been able to get on much... (as you may have noticed?)

DD2 is getting so clingy, really needy and generally needing my attention 24/7... I'm sure it's those 'terrible two's' but i'm sure it'll pass soon enough, i dont remember the other 2 being like this so it must pass soon enough.

Not really had any change here... DH is starting to look for a new job, our holiday is only 6 wks away!!, DD2 has grown a bit and i have just started putting her in 18-24m clothes (even if they are a tad big)... finally at 2.6yo!! I am back in my jeans.... and thats about it.

have just skim read the last few posts... have i missed anything important?

tinkbig · 15/07/2011 13:06

hi cant sorry for clinginess!!
can be very draining

good day here
have bought from amazon for dd1s 6th bday -
mario kart for wii and spare wheel
leapster explorer games -
preordered - petpals not relised till end of july
and disney pixar
have also bought - toy story
mr pencil
and globe trotter

Kayzr · 15/07/2011 19:47

Cant I'm sure I've been AWOL longer than you. Neither of the boys have ever been clingy. I actually think they'd go off with anybody without a second thought to me Grin

Kayzr · 15/07/2011 19:47

Oh is it wrong to be picking prams already? Blush

Diege · 16/07/2011 18:22

Oh no KAYZ, never too early Grin. Great news btw on your ttc plans; that's very exciting!
Hi CANT! agree with TINKS, clingyness is very draining and is probably my least favourite part of the whole parenting lark (I hate the holding on to the leg thing!). Btw will I see you in London? (have forgotten if you were able to come or not Blush).
Fine here - feeling very tired, mainly due to late nights marking, and have also agreed to take another 100 scripts as the extra money will pay for a phil and teds - how could I say no? Wink

Diege · 16/07/2011 19:35

Having a minor panic about the fact that there are no tube services on the lines we need next week...have posted on fb, so any advice appreciated!!

cantmummyhaveabreak · 17/07/2011 07:38

Kays- thanks for excusing my absence! Grin

Diege- tiredness from some late marking will be well worth it when you have a shiny new p&t! Wink

I spent all day yesterday listing on ebay as its free listing weekend and I've just cleared out dd2's 12-18 wardrobe... Loads selling well already! Must get listing some more things I need rid of today... Could do with the extra money to buy new holiday clothes :)

Oh and sorry, diege, I wont be at the meet-up. Decided it was much too close to our holiday to be spending so much money, and a good job I did as 2 things have gone wrong on the car :( so its had one fixed, the other being done in a couple of weeks, so we'd have been using holiday spends to fix it had I decided to come. Sad to be missing it tho, would have been fun! :)

tinkbig · 17/07/2011 11:05

hi ladies

well done cant with ebay
diege more money always good
hvng gd wknd here

Kayzr · 17/07/2011 16:47

Hello everyone.

I'm gonna be a bit naughty and if you are lurking I am very very sorry. Largeginandtonic is expecting number 8!!! Thats amazing [hgrin]

cantmummyhaveabreak · 17/07/2011 17:30

Kayz- we found out a few weeks back.... maybe about 6-8wks ago... sorry if that pee's on your fire Grin

Kayzr · 17/07/2011 17:41

Lol, no it's ok. I found out on facebook a while ago and I was trying to look back to see if it was on here already but got fed up of trawling through pages.

I am very tempted to not take my pill today. We've decided we'd rather put the wedding off til 2013 so we can afford the wedding we really want and so I won't be pregnant. So we thought I could maybe come of it now but I have a week left so it's gonna bugger up my cycle isn't it??

cantmummyhaveabreak · 17/07/2011 21:13

I'd say your probably best taking the last week so you have AF as usual then start the next cycle fresh... easier for tracking dates, easier for your body, and just less coplications all round. :)
