Hello Smile. Thinking of you GRUFF x
SES, hang on in there, it looks like things are resolving but the wait must be very frustrating. I also had lots of ewm about 2 weeks after my mc a few years ago, but held off ttc and them conceived dc 4 the next month. You will be more fertile for a few mths after, but obviously have been through a very traumatic time so need to do things at your own pace xxx
Well had a bit of a drama on Thursday and ended up in labour ward. Had had a gush of fluid when waiting for train that soaked through my pants and jeans. A bit worried, but held off the panic till the next day and rang mw. She admitted me to labout ward straight away which made me panic a bit (ok, a lot) where they examined me and all looks fine. Mw thinks it may be thrush-related (as watery discharge can be a sign) and has taken a swab, and have had no more 'gushes' since. Quite scary but very glad I got it checked out!
Hope everyone is fine and no dramas!

tinkbig · 25/06/2011 12:00

oh wow diege that must have been scary!!!

Diege · 25/06/2011 13:09

Off to a local school fair now - where is this promised heatwave? Hmm

tinkbig · 26/06/2011 15:08

Morning!

Gruff - really hope Monday went as well as it could and you are doing ok.

Tink - glad your tooth pain is getting better

Rugby - how's things? Are you nearing the end of the 2ww now?

Kayz- hello! Don't be a stranger on here!

Diege - hope you've not had any more dramas. That must have been v scary at the time!

Hello Star, Bumps, Giraffe, Cant and anyone else I've missed!

Off to Jo Jingles this morning, then a hair cut for DS. Then this afternoon, the EPU have decided to scan me again to see if there is any tissue left. It will be 4 weeks on Friday since ERPC so I'm glad they're doing something. I'll have to take DS with me so hopefully will be seen promptly and all will be straight forward.

Hope you all have lovely days!

tinkbig · 29/06/2011 16:37

good luck ses xx
enjoyed dd1s sportsday this afternoon and dd2 was really good
weather nice 2

Kayzr · 29/06/2011 18:23

Ses I hope all has gone well at the EPU.

I am fed up of the weather. Its grey and cloudy but really hot here.

SESthebrave · 29/06/2011 23:38

Well scan showed everything clear which is a huge relief :)
They are a bit confused as to why I'm still getting BFPs but as the lines are v gradually getting fainter, they've suggested testing again in a week and if still BFP to phone them.

tink - glad you and DD enjoyed sports day. We have sports day for DS at nursery on Friday afternoon

Kay - hope you get some sun soon. We had sun most of the day and then heavy rain this evening. How's the wedding planning going?

Hello everyone else - hope you're all ok.

Kayzr · 30/06/2011 06:59

Ses I'm glad it showed everything is clear. We have sunshine this morning so hopefully it'll stay all day.

Wedding planning is coming along nicely. I have my dress already. It came from eBay. I'd seen it in a shop for £3000!!! So resigned myself to not having it and then saw it on eBay for £450 so decided to go for it. But it's a size 12 and I'm a 14 so having to diet to get into it.

DS1 has his sports day next Thursday which should be fun. He starts all day in September. He's getting too old too quickly.

Hope everyone is well and has some sun!!

Diege · 30/06/2011 09:43

Morning! On strike so off work, which is a good job seeming as dd1 is also off!
SES, that's good news about the scan. How are you feeling in yourself?
GRUFF, hope everything went ok on Monday - must have been a tough day x
KAYZ, good to hear from you! Your dress sounds a bargain, and a great motivation for dropping a dress size if that is what you want
TINKS, agree that the hot weather sucks But there again I've been moaning about how cold it is today and yesterday too. Looks like a storm is brewing here..
Had my swab results back from the hospital and as I thought it's thrush. A massive relief as I was starting to worry a bit as the results were in, but everyone I spoke to said they couldn't tell me Hmm and passed me back to the labour ward...anyway, thrush is a good result compared to what it culd have been!
LOve to all x

Kayzr · 30/06/2011 11:00

I am wanting to drop a dress size. Hopefully this will be the kick up the bum I need. I've been doing zumba and it still makes me feel like me legs are going to fall off. So I hope it's doing some good.

tinkbig · 30/06/2011 13:59

Kayzr · 04/07/2011 20:35

I am so fed up of being broody. I think I need a slap as I am getting married next year. I sometimes think the boys will be so grown up. They'll be 6 and 4 by the time the baby arrives and for some bizarre reason it feels like they'll be so so so so old!!!

Hope you all had nice weekends

GruffaloSoldier · 04/07/2011 21:10

Hi everyone,

Thanks for all your thoughts for last Monday. It went as well as a funeral can and it was good to be with all my family. Driving to and from Scotland was a bit of a nightmare with a 9 week old but we got through it. We got home late Tues night.

I have been coping ok, I speak to my sisters everyday and we are always there for each other which is good. DH has been very supportive!

I bought some stuff at the weekend as it was my birthday just before the funeral so I had some birthday money to spend. I am finding retail therapy is definitely the key to keeping me upbeat :) I have three different orders on the way so am looking forward to that!

I think the hardest thing is making myself realise she has gone. It is so hard and I have found myself, several times, going to ring her and then I remember I can't :( It still doesn't seem real.

I am ok though, the boys are a great distraction...oh and the shopping Grin

Hi All - been lurking, but as usual no time to post - I lurk on my phone and posting on there is soooo slow.
Gruff good to see you back on here. Glad funeral went as well as expected. Can't imagine how tough it must be. Glad DSs are helping (and retail therapy!!)
Ses glad scan was all clear. Hope your body settles down soon.
Diege glad it didn't turn out to be anything more serious. Hope all clears up quickly. From here seems like your pg is flying by, but am sure it doesn't feel like that for you.

So, had some very good news today - we have a date for DD's op. She's going in next Thursday. She has a pre-op assessment on Monday and will then be in for 10 days from Thursday. Am thrilled to finally get a date (and pushing the petrifiedness as far back in my mind as I can at the moment). Does mean that we will be very unlikely to make the meet-up on 23rd (very disappointed, as we were looking forward to seeing you all again) - we'll wave from central London in your direction GrinWink

Am very envious of your retail spending ladies - made a pact with myself not to buy anything for myself this year from 1 January. Did get some shoes with a Christmas voucher in Feb, a dress with a voucher in April and my Mum brought me some crop jeans for my birthday... then I broke it last week and bought myself a maxi dress in Sainsburys. Am going to try to stick to it, as it does make me more thougthful about what I really need... Am finding that internet shopping without actually purchasing is still quite fun Grin

tinkbig · 05/07/2011 20:36

gruff - glad u r getting through it
