Gruff - so sorry to hear your news. I know there will be some tough days ahead but do take comfort from the fact that she died peacefully in the end and knew you were there with her.
Thinking of you and your family xxx

Starshinetiger · 18/06/2011 07:34

Oh Gruff, I am so sad to hear your news. Very glad you managed to get up there to be with her and that she knew you were there. Such horrible dark times for you and your family. Sending big hugs.

Diege · 18/06/2011 10:06

GRUFF, I am so, so sorry to hear your news, but as others have said at least you were with her at the end and I'm sure you will gain some comfort from that over the coming weeks. Thinking of you and your family xxx

Rugbylovingmum · 18/06/2011 10:18

Thank you everyone for your lovely messages of support. It really means a lot.

I just thought I'd tell you something quite lovely - my lovely GC rang his Grandma in heaven yesterday and I found it so very comforting.

Thanks everyone again xxx

Hi All

Gruff, I am so sorry to hear the news about your mum but then very glad to later read that you had managed to reach her bedside in time. You are an amazing daughter and an huge inspiration to me in that respect. The cub making a call to grandma is extremely lovely and shows such understanding for a 2 year old :)

As everyone has said, we are all here as support as and when you need it. And I am only down the road (closer these days!) so happy to help out any time at a weekend if you need any thing.

Hi everyone else. xx

Hello Smile Back from 20 week scan and all looking good
And it's a boy!!!! Very pleased (though a girl would have been great too) as ds will have a brother, and the dds also wanted another boy.

Hope everyone is ok - thinking of you GRUFF xxx

GingerbreadGiraffe · 20/06/2011 15:49

Congratulations Diege! So glad everything went well and hooray for a little brother for DS and the girls GrinGrinGrin

Starshinetiger · 20/06/2011 20:44

Congrats on good scan Diege and it being a boy. Will be lovely for DS to have a brother and another brother for the girls. 20 weeks seems to have flown by, although I'm sure not for you.

Ses, ditto Giraffe - how are you doing?
Rugby - so how far into 2 week wait are you?

Hi Star, I'm about 1 week into the 2ww so won't test until after the weekend but I think AF may arrive early - have been very grumpy and am now eating my way through the choc cake we made for DO for Father's Day Blush.

bumpsnowjustplump · 21/06/2011 10:47

Gruff so sorry to hear your sad news, glad you got there on time though..

Congrats deige, you have a blue one and I have a pink one.. hehe..

Moosy thank you for all your kindness and you really must let me give you some money.. xx

SESthebrave · 21/06/2011 14:55

Hello all!

Gruff - have been thinking of you. How cute and comforting it must have been to hear GC talking to your mum. How are you doing though? Are you back down south? Do you know when the funeral is?

Diege - fantastic news for a straightforward scan and another DS. Really pleased for you!

Rugby - fx for a lucky first month for you. How's the symptom spotting?

Hello Giraffe, Bumps, Moosy and anyone else around!

As for me, I'm up and down but doing ok. Still getting a BFP so will phone EPU and check with them tomorrow. Am away at annual conference (in exotic Coventry!) with work at the moment. One of my team is up for an award tonight so I've got my fingers crossed she wins her category!

tinkbig · 21/06/2011 21:12

Hi everyone

Thanks so much everyone for your thoughts and messages, they really mean a lot. I find the support really comforting.

Yes I am back down south now. Came back yesterday. we are going back on Saturday and the funeral is Monday.

I have been ok today but haven't done much and also didnt get out my pjs all day!

Thanks again to everyone for your support! It means so much.

hi gruff

you take care

Rugbylovingmum · 22/06/2011 16:47

Hi Gruff, take care of yourself and don't worry about sitting in your PJs all day. I will be thinking of you and your family on Monday.

Ses - how are you doing? Did you manage to speak to someone at the EPU today? I hope you aren't waiting much longer for a BFN so you know where you are. How are you feeling?

I feel shattered today, just really lethargic. I think it's the weather (it's so 'heavy' IYKWIM) plus I have a couple of really busy days coming up that I just want over and done with so I can start my hols. Can't wait to have some time off - we are leaving DD in nursery for 2 days each week and just relaxing then we have some family outings planned for the rest of the fortnight. It's going to be lovely Grin.

Rugbylovingmum · 22/06/2011 16:48

Sorry Tink, forgot to say hello

tinkbig · 22/06/2011 20:45

i will let u off tink as it is u Wink

SESthebrave · 22/06/2011 21:34

Gruff - continuing to think of you. Hope your journey back up at the weekend goes ok and I'll be thinking of you on Mon.

Rugby - your upcoming fortnight sounds wonderful :)

I did another test this morning and still a BFP but (although still within 3 mins) it wasn't so immediate or strong. EPU hence advise to continue to wait it out. I really hope it's not too much longer. I've had a load of EWCM the last couple of days so could be ovulating again but I'm not going to risk any SWI until I've had a BFN.

Hello everyone else and hope you're ok.

tinkbig · 23/06/2011 12:22

hi ses - hope u get answers soon
