I like the final push too!

confuddledDOTcom · 23/05/2011 19:15

No problem Grin I had that with the eldest's head, it never kept her away long but the relief and being able to use my lungs was worth the break.

OP posts:
MissLolita · 23/05/2011 19:47

Hi ladies, good news - babyLolita got the all clear this afternoon! The cyst has mysteriously vanished! The consultant was lovely and said it must have been an ovarian cyst caused by the huge quantities of hormones the baby has pumping through her and that it was relatively common. She had a copy of the original scan showing the 3cm cyst so at least there was evidence it hadn't all been in my head! She said that considering how I looked at it I was either lucky or not to have seen it:) babylolita is measuring spot on and has a current weight of 4lb 13oz and her head was so far down they couldn't get a proper measurement. The relief I feel is almost indescribable xxx

buttonmoon78 · 23/05/2011 19:50

Phew! Great news MissL.

JimmyChoo17 · 23/05/2011 20:26

Great news misslolita!

Just quickly popping in as about to pass out in my nest of pillows and attractively snore away the night Grin session of aqua natal has knocked me out!

Another vote for final push! will post properly when less tired Zzzzzzzzz

Scottygirl10 · 23/05/2011 20:50

That's fantastic miss L, I've found pregnancy to be one big worry without any complications so really pleased for you. And well done to you confuddled, I remember reading way back when that you'd be expecting a may baby. Only one more week and she'd be a June baby! I just want to say how in love I am with gumtree. Got a fantastic deal on a gorgeous barely used mamas n papas pram for the grandparents house plus countless other accessories for £100. V pleased :) cheesy grin. Anyhoo my vote's for final push too. 6 weeks to go! Eeeeeeee x anyone else youtubing birth video's? No? JUst me then...lol x

Eglu · 23/05/2011 20:51

Great news MissLolita. It is always good when worrying things turn out to be nothing.

Fab123 · 23/05/2011 21:02

Yay! You must be so pleased MissL! Hope you enjoyed the scan time to see bubs instead of ugly cyst :)

I've eaten far too much today (noticed I'd started dropping down from 12st again so made an effort) and feel really immobile now. I think a night of heartburn may be on the cards :(

No funny bum pains today, so I think it was just her head yesterday thank goodness!

cara2244 · 23/05/2011 21:10

SpannerPants that's annoying about the breastfeeding thing. The NHS course I went to last time was two hours about the benefits of breastfeeding, but nothing about how to do it or where to get help if you need it.
I agree about the nipple cream - I used loads of karmilosan and didn't get any chapped nipples. And it does hurt at first, but I suppose there is a difference between pain from incorrect attachment and the feeling of your previously sensitive boobs being used as feeding implements! Mine always felt really toecurling when he first latched on, and that lasted until he was 5 weeks.

MissLolita I got nose bleeds frequently in the first trimester.

Eglu sorry to hear about your iron levels. Are you eating a high iron diet as well as the tablets? I am living on houmous and spinach at the moment. I don't think I will ever want to eat them again after this pg.

A vote for "the final push" from me too.

buttonmoon78 · 23/05/2011 21:25

Right. I'm going to do it then. This thread is getting so big it's unwieldy!

buttonmoon78 · 23/05/2011 21:27

It's done - we're all ready to go.
