Am I the first? I can't see another November thread.

Ok, my stats, I am 32, have 1 dd (2.1) and edd is 03/11/2011.

I had a mc at Christmas but feel ok about this pregnancy, though I only found out 3 days ago so I may get a bit more panicked as time passes.

Anyone else want to join me in a November baby thread?

loup so sorry to hear your news :(

Fx cep....

bump - I've not had any sickness yet but had sore breasts for about 3 weeks which just suddenly stopped so I've no idea what's going on either!

Report
goldmaple · 16/03/2011 16:32

bump and laabama I've had no really symptoms either, except being tired. Today I'm 5+5, so its pretty early yet.

My Dr's app is not until next week so hopefully she'll be reassuring.

did anyone bring DH/DP to their first Dr's appt or do you wait until the first scan?

3rd time really glad your scan went well. I must be amazing hearing the heartbeat. Does it feel more really now? (or did it always - I am still going mainly by my BFP rather than symptoms)

3rd so pleased for you.

Gold I took dp with me both times for my booking in appointment as they do the dating scan then. Not all places do this and it means we get no 12 week scan but thats the way it is done here.

i cant believe i am actually willing the sickness back..

3rd so pleased your scan went well.

thanks everyone for your messages. have just taken my first anti biotic fx they're going to work and that was the problem.

I've had no symptoms either and got another BFP yesterday on CB Digi (conception indicator had gone up from 1-2 last week to 2-3 this week so was pleased with that) Am hoping no sickness and non-aching boobs is something I can sustain!

Thanks for feedback re: early scans. I'm going to ask my GP on Tuesday to see what she thinks and go from there. I think DH is too excited not to share when he see his family and he is very close to his brother. We have a couple of weeks to think about it anyway!

GoldMaple were you a charter? I think that may be where we 'know' eachother from Grin

well, i didnt hear the heartbeat, the sonographer showed it to us! its like a litle flashing white mark in the middle of the bean! got to say it was amazing once i calmed down! i just walked into the room and burst into tears! i dont think the sonographer was too impressed! oh well! it does feel more real now tho, just seeing it there in front of me...beating away! id be lying if i said i wasnt ectastic to see it! altho, im still trying to tell myself to chill a bit because i know its still a good 5 weeks till 12 week scan when we can really get excited!

goldmaple how far along are you again? i didnt really get any strong symptoms until 6 weeks (only about a week ago really, seems longer) i think thats normal! then again, my sister and friends who have all had babies didnt suffer with hardly anything the whole nine months!! (and theyv still got great figures Envy )

3rd it had better be. Grin hopefully mine will be just as good on monday, although i don't think i breathe until they say either way.

I did another test today, after yesterdays request from epu/dr (although i need to do it friday) i couldn't help it, there's 2 in a pack anyway. straight away bit fat line so yay. have to admit would have been shocked if otherwise though. even if i lost it today i'd still show the hormones on friday so not sure what they're expecting.

Hi Folks

Cep - Thanks for thinking of me, how are you feeling? Hope you've got your feet up and are being looked after well?

I'm ok. Just knackered. I'm 6+1 today and am still getting nausea and sickness. Those of you that were worried that the sickness seems to have gone - mine comes and goes - one day i'm absolutely fine, the next i spend all my time calling Huey on the big white phone Grin

We're not encouraged to go to our doctors with our pregnancy, but instead are give a number to book in with a midwife over the phone who takes all the details then gets one of the other midwives to do a visit ect. Only they aren't answering the sodding phone. Have tried for three days to get through and it goes straight to answerphone. Oh well, just keep trying i suppose.

Started spotting red heavily today, and having bad cramps - looks like I'm having a chemical pregnancy, as I have done before.
:( :( :(

Gutted, especially as this was our last try (we need fertility treatment to get pregnant) Thanks for the welcome, good luck everyone else.

Big hugs to Delilah. Girls I need either a kicking or some hugs. I have mc'd twice around 6 weeks. I'm now 6+3 and tomorrow is my scan. Whilst I've had no pain or blood I'm dreading it and praying it won't be bad news again. Am I just being neurotic and hormonal? Please feel free to be honest!

Report
cep · 16/03/2011 20:06

lk it is completely normal to feel like that so i won't kick you i will however give you (((hugs)))). i know what you feel like. when i have my scan next week it'll be around the date it died last time (although undiscovered until 11 weeks) so i'm (putting it bluntly) bricking it. What time is your scan?

7.40 tomorrow night. Tis a little bit worse as dp is in forces and posted away until may :-( but my two best girlfriends are coming with. Everything is crossed. God knows how I'll get through work tomorrow. Keep thinking of you and will do until you tell us everything is fine....

Ik I do know how you feel, I've been in the same situation.

Sounds a bit hippyish but I always visualise before a scan the doctor showing me the screen with a bit smile on her face saying you can see the heat beat or what ever else I want to happen.

It helps me to stay calm.Smile

delilah :(

I had my first app with the GP today, the same one I saw after the MC and he was very pleased for me, bless him! I asked for an early scan but he said our EPU won't do it before 8 wks unless I'm bleeding so got an app with the midwife in 2 wks so hopefully I'll get one after that.

Didn't feel so sick today or tired, I think it's going to come and go..
