Took it upon myself to start a new thread. Everyone's popping right now!

PS: Sorry for the awful rhyme, it was all I could think of Blush

ah thanks zero i have grown rather fond myself hahaha. Are you overdue yet?I have only ever gone over by a day or two.
Funny but me and dh were talking about thst last night as we were both in the mood but still unsure if its safe so early,im [shocked] that it interested me tbh.

Reflexology started me off with Ella try it.

EauRouge · 12/02/2011 10:15

ledkr awwww, she's gorgeous :)

angels, I don't think it sounds like a show, I've been getting quite a bit of extra discharge too and keep running off to the loo to check. Pregnancy begins and ends with obsessive knicker-checking it seems Grin

zero, you are brave! DH suggested we could get jiggy to get things started and I had to delicately explain that due to extra blood flow etc things are not exactly comfy down there. Blush

ZeroMinusZero · 12/02/2011 10:18

I don't think I'm overdue ledkr but it's a bit hard to know after they said that my original date of 6th March was wrong, but didn't give me a new one. When I saw the mw last Monday, on the 7th, she said baby was engaged and I might well pop this week and that she might not see me at my next appointment on the 14th as I might have gone into labour by then, so I've really got my hopes up and am expecting to go any minute now... but I don't really know what's going on. Luckily I like pineapple so I'm just eating it anyway.

eaurouge you could really boost his confidence (or maybe not) by telling him it would only work if he had an 18" penis as we found last night that my bump pushes DH so far away from the action area that he'd need to be quite a lot longer to reach anything of any consequence!!

Ooooh Delilah is gorgeous!!!

Grin Grin at your attempts zero, how frustrating Grin

No more news this end, trying to work out monetary matters, just what I don't want to be doing at the mo.

Look at what I just found: Brew

JustOneMorePlease · 12/02/2011 10:46

ledkr she is beautiful! Want one!

Done boys swimming lessons feel knackered. Can't wait to be able to put my socks on easily again!!!!!

Have a good weekend everyone.

smallblackflowers · 12/02/2011 10:58

ledkr how gorgeous Smile
I want one too. Now.

My pains stopped in the night and haven't got started again. Very annoyed.

ledkr · 12/02/2011 11:24

I have been making up for lost time with the [winr] nom nom
The only thing is its not such fun when you know you have to get up with a baby,i felt a bit tipsy last night and had my drinking head on but then remembered i cant sleep it off anymore Hmm

ZeroMinusZero · 12/02/2011 11:43

Ooh pineapple curry now there's an idea Grin

I just uploaded my final bump picture if anyone wants a look, it's the one of me in a pink top and jeans, taken this morning.

wigglesrock · 12/02/2011 14:27

Ledkr beautiful picture - she looks like you Grin

You are brave with marital relations, to be honest I'd be quite in the mood but logistically not sure how we could manage it!! Lovely day here for a change, seems to have rained all week, took girls to the park, but was actually bloody freezing when out of the sun so we only lasted about 30 mins.

Still having the pains and the odd bit of backache, felt that last night something could be happening but no just stopped and I went to bed!!

WaddlingSheep · 12/02/2011 15:44

Aww, Ledkr she's lovely!

Well, these pains are still coming and going. They were getting stronger and more regular but I've had a bath with Lavender oil and 2 paracetamol and they seemed to go for a bit, but I've just had a couple more. Hmm

WaddlingSheep · 12/02/2011 15:47

I wonder how PinkiePoo is getting on? She had trickling waters but her contractions hadn't started. I hope she's had her baby by now! Smile

NeedToSleepZZZ · 12/02/2011 16:26

ahhh, ledkr, she's so beautiful! DOes she like being swaddled? Ben likes it but every night we hear him grunting and groaning as he frees his arms.

Congratulations byronic, hope you're both doing well and you're getting to rest. Think we were EDD buddies!

Feels like pregnancy was ages ago and I don't miss it at all, everyone still waiting to pop has my utmost respect! Wink I really think it was the walking that made me pop, worth a try if nothing else.

Still not sleeping and have baby blues, going to talk to mw on Monday about it. I just can't relax and don't know why.

knittakid · 12/02/2011 17:44

needto glad you say you don't miss beign preg. cause I've been feeling really sad that I won't have my bump anymore quite soon, lying in the bath looking at him moving in there is all I want to do! I suppose it's better once they are outside, but right now I can't think how it can be any nicer... oh dear, what a silly mood to be in...

sbf sending you pain vibes Wink

Bensmum76 · 12/02/2011 18:09

Hi all, its me the lurker! Just wanted to say congrats to all who have had their babies!
And wanted to say Need To, its perfectly normal to feel anxious and unable to relax with newborn. My ds slept through from 5 weeks (honestly) but i still couldn't sleep as was so anxious about everything and really struggled to just relax and enjoy him. I imagine alot of first (and second) time mums feel the same way. Be good for you to have a chat with the mw though.
Also Ledkr, baby Delilah is beautiful and I'm pleased things seem to be getting better for you.

EauRouge · 12/02/2011 18:41

NeedTo, hope you get the baby blues sorted :( I think it's quite common a few days after the birth.

And I hope you're right about the walking! We had a nice long walk today. No twinges yet but getting very strong BH. DH is driving me slightly barmy by asking every 5 minutes if I'm in labour. Am going to have a nice soak in the bath to escape!

I will not miss pregnant either, I can't wait to be able to put my own shoes on and crack my back when I need to. Oh, and have a massive raw rare steak Grin

ILovePonyo · 12/02/2011 19:26

Aah ledkr I've just had a look at your baby pic, beautiful!

How are we all doing? I think I had a show earlier this evening, bit of jelly like stuff with a bit of blood in, it was very small though (lovely)! Still some crampy pains but nothing regular/too strong.

Good luck with the midwife needtosleep, sounds like you're doing the right thing.

Breezey · 12/02/2011 20:20

SBF hope your pains reappear, in the best way, I've had random cramps, but nothing much. Eau, My DP also driving me mad asking everytime I turn over, 'is it happening' don't you think I'll let you know !!! Hope things start to happen for all those waiting

ledkr · 12/02/2011 21:48

sounds like lots of you are on the way.
Thanks for all your nice comments about Delilah, tonight it was so sweet she was awake and sitting with dil and seemed to be unsettled and staring across towards my voice.I took her and she immediately relaxed and went to sleep on my chest,i felt so overwhelmed that she knew me.
Need to im sorry you are a bit blue.I think i was so upset about Delilah it bypassed me and now im so pleased shes ok i am always happy.Try to relax,is it your first i cant remember.I remember being over whelmed with my first.I take every day at a time with this one,i keep thinking "im on mat leave for a reason" dont have to do anything.I take her to bed when i go and put on the tv and chill out, sleep when she does and stick tv on again to feed her when she wakes,we have to keep her upright for 30mins after her feed so i have been watching some weird stuff on tv.Try to see these days as a extention of your pg its a temporary situation and things will settle eventually.
Let me know how you are feeling tomorrow.

tadjennyp · 12/02/2011 22:06

Delilah looks a treat ledkr! We swaddle Samuel too but I am rubbish and he often makes his way out again! Breastfeeding is really sore but I keep at it, thinking the scabs will go eventually. I don't really miss being pregnant but would like to get rid of the bump now! Grin

tadjennyp · 12/02/2011 22:08

Good luck with the mw needto - write everything down first so if you feel overwhelmed while you are there you can still pass her the note.

ledkr · 12/02/2011 22:24

D had to be swaddled very tightly by nurses when she had her feeding tube in and her canula in here arm,the nurse did it really tightly.I swaddle her now but have been only doing it at night for last few days so she knows the difference and also wakes for feeds thru the daytime.Do sear by it at night tho,

cookingfat · 13/02/2011 08:47

Just checking in to report the birth of a beautiful DD, born on Friday. She's beautiful, birth was what I wanted, aftercare was less so!), at home now and trying to master feeding (me) and sleepIng (her).

slowangels1 · 13/02/2011 09:47

needto hope your health visitor/mw sorts you out and you feel stronger soon - make sure you're takign care of yourself.

thanks eau for the info re; my lack of show Blush . Maybe it's just hopeful thinking. Nothing exciting to report other than lots of ball bouncing yesterday has give me a bad back Hmm

Hope everyone is well.

knittakid · 13/02/2011 10:33

needto you can always count on mamaledkr for some good advice Smile, what is it they call it? the fourth trimester? something like that. It's great that you've identified that you are feeling blue, and you'll get help. Sending you lots of hugs.
