Medee · 21/01/2011 11:44

Recent pee trips seem to be at 1.30, 4 and 6 (the latter being the most annoying as another hour and I get up anyway) My winning pillow config seems to be; normal 2 pillows under my head, wedge pillow under my bump, long pillow straddled by my legs, HWB somewhere around back. MrM has talked about moving the spare bedroom after this weekend (his parents are visiting.)

LadyGoneGaga · 21/01/2011 11:45

Scorps you are a freak. But plz not to worry about t'Lad's brain. It is only you it is hurting, not him. He has strong Vegas genes and will be fine.

Bitey d'you think hospital would object to a camping stove arrangement? Maybe next to the bed? Can't see any health and safety issues tehre. Although you may be so desperate for bloody meat you can just eat it raw Grin.

rocketleaf · 21/01/2011 11:54

scorp I am weirder than you in that I don't really like steak, I would MUCH rather have a seared tuna steak. Bloody love raw fish! Sorry to hear the headache is back but at least its only mild. I imagine you will have good days and not so good still as it won't be a cure all. Just focus on the fact you actually have good days now!!! :o

muse movement is exciting!!! What news from drom? you are neck and neck so I am expecting some jostling in the queue from you 2 and gin

Lovely about having a diff buddy in work lady

Ivegotmrbitey · 21/01/2011 11:55

scorps the FDH only likes his steak chargrilled and I married him! Sorry your headache has returned, is it a headache or a return of the full migraine? Here is a fish slap, don't forget that the many positives of the drucks were the reason for taking them and your consultant has promised they are ok. Hard not to worry though.

muse my fave preggo book (up the duff by kaz clarke) says that this week your pelvic ligaments are loosening and the baybee's head can be low down in the pelvis and may even be bouncing by your cervix giving a pressing feeling. How very text book of you!

Well it's oily fish day for me! Sardines on toast coming up!

Scorpette · 21/01/2011 12:07

Maybe the well-done meat has caused my stretchmarks?!

Cheers, Gaga. I meant the medication I'm taking, not the pain, as it is brain-chemistry-mending stuff, but I know the consultant told me it can't do anything. I never, ever take any drucks when not pg, so is v ironic that I'm dosed up on all sorts now! Confused

Despite the mild headache, am going to see The King's Speech later. I just hope the director managed to add in a scene where Colin Firth falls into a lake wearing naught but flimsy undergarments. What? It could've happened... Grin

LadyGoneGaga · 21/01/2011 12:12

Presumably they don't want to get sued, Scorps so it must be ok. I know you just want to do the best but you can't go on in horrible pain either.

Bleurh sardines on toast. Just bleurgh. But enjoy! Grin It is pizza and curly fries day in the canteen today. Guess which option I'm going for Blush

Scorpette · 21/01/2011 12:31

I don't like oily fish, raw fish or tuna. I have the fish sophistication levels of a child: salmon and white fish only Blush

Thanks again, Gaga, you're v reassuring. The Lad has been less active ever since I started taking them too, which has worried me, but as TYF told me last night, he needs a break occasionally from all that raving!

Bitey, I feel your pain. TYF hates Thai food, which is my fave. Man virtually has a phobia of coconut, the loon.

BTW, I had a sex dream about Aaron Johnson last night. And the sex was rubbish. WTF is wrong with my unconscious mind?! What a waste Angry

rocketleaf · 21/01/2011 12:36

Not a big fan of "fishy" fish, sardines, mackerel etc. but think thats why i like it raw cos it tastes less fishy before cooking providing its very fresh.

I'm sure the Lad will be fine score I know its worrying esp when you are not a fan of taking over the counter drugs (I am with you there) but its better for him if you are feeling good, I think! Enjoy the Kings Speech, I really wanna see that!

LadyGoneGaga · 21/01/2011 12:52

I just had to google him, Score. Did you know he's 20 and his partner is 43? And they've just had a baby Shock.

rocketleaf · 21/01/2011 12:58

yep, score told us that the other day. That is why we like him. She would get mahoosive BESH kudos for her answer to Question 2 no?

Ivegotmrbitey · 21/01/2011 12:59

Aaron Johnson I can't believe he's only twenty! Bet that baby is gorgeous!

LadyGoneGaga · 21/01/2011 13:24

Ah, missed all that. Crikey.

milanomum · 21/01/2011 13:27

I don't do meat so not really an issue for me but did you know that you have to be really careful with salads because they have to be washed really thoroughly as they can carry toxo fecker too? The Italian system tests all pregnant women for the toxo fingy right from the first blood test and if you don't have it, you get routinely tested for it and stressed out about it. I had no idea they didn't do that over there. That said, over here I bet they'd do blood tests for just about anything.

Aaaanyway, all I wanted after the birth was a Mars bar.

LadyG One of my good friends at work is one month behind me and it's so nice to have someone who understands why you have to go to the loo every 5 minutes and eat the rest of the time.

A.J. doesn't really do it for me...but maybe he's crap in bed scorps and your finely-tuned pregnancy brain has sussed that out. Maybe.

I just bought 2 pairs of rahver nice mat trousers in the sales and am going to wear them even if they are hanging around my waist

Scorpette · 21/01/2011 13:32

I likes 'em young, hurhur

Scorpette · 21/01/2011 13:37

Milano, you have a good point - how can someone barely out of their teens be much cop in the sack?

LadyGoneGaga · 21/01/2011 13:41

Probably lots of enthusiasm though.

rocketleaf · 21/01/2011 13:43

she's 43, I bet she's taught him a thing or two

Ivegotmrbitey · 21/01/2011 13:45

Youth? Stamina? Enthusiasm? Willingness to learn? Firm behind? I had beter stop thinking about this or will never finsh my work!

Oh and in spot news found a used tube of l'occitane lavender face cream last night and tried it - lovely soothing and cooling effect and visage definitely less angry than before. It's not very moisturising but do feel like I am heading in the right direction of kind to skin things.

I wish I had a diff buddy in work, I still haven't told work until I get my job sorted! I think I have a few weeks yet, better check though!

Ivegotmrbitey · 21/01/2011 13:51

Yes, ages and ages! Plenty of time to get a new contract! I suspect that it is going to be obvious soon, lots of ligamanty stretchy poppy pain today.

Scorpette · 21/01/2011 13:51

Eeeeh, the things I could teach him!

Glad that cream has helped, Bitey :)

Right, orf to see The King's Speech. Headache be damned!

laurielou · 21/01/2011 14:50

So..........so............tir....ed

CluckyKate · 21/01/2011 14:58

Ooooh - rare steak ....can't stand it well done, might as well eat a piece of leather! Does anyone else slice off raw pieces for a taste check before cooking or is it just me.
I've not any foods while preggo - rare steaks, pate, smoked salmon, blue & unpasteurised cheese, runny eggs, unwashed salad [selfish bitch emoticon] but, hey, I'm still here and have managed to get through the last 38 weeks with no ill effects. The way this little blighter is kicking about there's not much wrong with him either Grin

Enjoy the film Score!

Muse it does sound like everythings moving southwards for you. S'pect you'll be sitting like an old granny, legs akimbo, and walking with pronounced John Wayne sawgger too.

CluckyKate · 21/01/2011 14:59

Avoided....I've not avoided. Seems my brain's not working today either!!!

Medee · 21/01/2011 15:48
rocketleaf · 21/01/2011 16:20

Ah loz! Nearly home time! And lie in time tomorrow.

Clucky, smoked salmon is ok anyway as the smoking kills the nasties. Not that the rest of it has done you any harm!
