That's such fabulous news Cadmum (CE looks old with big ears to me too, but shhh. . .we'd better keep that to ourselves )

I've been given 3 due dates, so unless the next scan confirms otherwise I am due either 26th Feb, 28th Feb or 3rd March. I'm not fussed about the due date thing really, although both the other ones were born exactly 8 days late and it will be interesting to see if this one is the same.

Frizbe · 30/09/2005 19:56

Really RP that's odd isn't it? dd was 5 days late, but if you count a 32 day cycle she was on time, so maybe this baby will be born on 1st March! (dd was 1st Nov!)

munz · 30/09/2005 22:38

caddy - now this is the piccy u want to be looking at ! and yes his ears are big! lol. but this is the best pic I think! (last word from me on CE - for this thread anyhow!) lol.

CE black and white v nice!

willcatch up properly tomorrow once DH is at work.

munz · 01/10/2005 10:40

morning then girls, can catch up properly,

pop - glad all was ok with ur m/w apt, have u tried asda/George for maternity wear, when I looked last (admittingly it was in agust) at our one in portsmouth the clothes were really nice and v v reasonable, (I think i'll leave it a bit long yet b4 I go out and buy some)

caddy - I am so pleased for u honney that everything went so well. - I gined 2kg in the first 12 weeks - so don't worry! - use my excuse ur scales at home r faulty! not got ur email yet, but once I do i'll see if we can't make the piccy clearer and then post it for u. hope u and ur DH are having a lovely time.

Friz - hope the potty training goes better today, my friend's starting with her DD - so far she's got as far as sitting on it and saying wee wees (sit's back wards!) then stands up puts it on ehr head dances around and says YAY!!! lol, nutcase! - good job they'res never actually anything in it - so far they're on the getting her used to the potty stage and what to do in it! lol.

DH is in work today - have u guys seen in wilkos J&J baby wipes are £1 each and their own ones are on bogof - so I now have about 8 packs of them enough to last a good while after baby's born! lol, also picked up a disney outfit, for £6 from our second ahead - I think it's mainly seconds clothes but they're all v good quality - I think the only prob with my out fit was there was a bit of fluff from the linner on the outside of the hat - came off ok so bargin!

poppyh · 01/10/2005 11:01

Hi Munz,Yes tried Asdas yesterday, but one near me doesnt seem to stock maternity wear.
Have received my long body pillow today so sleep should be more comfy.
Hope everyone good.Off to Library now.

romilly · 01/10/2005 11:31

poppy - do you mind me asking where you got your long body pillow from,? i am after one of those

munz · 01/10/2005 11:57

wooooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhoooooooo Rom's found us!

it should be a bit further down the thread rom if u have time to read it.

have u guys seen argos do the wedge one as well? - think it was them anyways?

romilly · 01/10/2005 12:24

its only taken me 4 months munz! lol

hey i fancy one of those wedge ones too, i keep waking up on my back - so i think i need to restrict all potential movement - mr. rom will think he's developed B.O. or something if he wakes up and im buried behind a barrier of pillows

so do argos have a website? i'll go have a looksie...

munz · 01/10/2005 12:26

lol, yes I think so i'm sure it was there I saw it.

hold on i'll have a look for u.

munz · 01/10/2005 12:29

the 'v' pillow

of possibly it was babies r us - hold on i'll lok in me book (their web site is down)

munz · 01/10/2005 12:32

yes sorry hon it was babies r u, it's the 'comfy sleep PG cushion' mulit use, relieves discomfort and backache. Ref it's £9.99

romilly · 01/10/2005 12:36

thanks munz hun - i'll try their website later and see if it is back up and running.

poppyh · 01/10/2005 12:49

Tchibo are doing one for £6.99.Bargain!!
Check out www.tchibo.co.uk
Hope this helps.

poppyh · 01/10/2005 12:49

Its a long one with pillowcase.

Frizbe · 01/10/2005 18:02

Wow! Hi Rom!! glad you made it over here!

well have been out working today, and whilst out, appear to have grown.....now struggling to fit into my spare pair of jeans....so that's me down to one pair of non maternity jeans (19 wks tomorrow!) and these were my two pairs of bigger size jeans from last time after the birth.....ot oh! think I'd better go maternity shopping tomorrow....

Munz, as per other thread, dd had no training today, as granny even though instructed to, whilst I was out working, decided it was easier not to....grrrr....try again tomorrow, pah!

romilly · 01/10/2005 18:52

thanks a lot poppy - that does help, although i got impatient this afternoon and went out to jojo maman and stocked up on a few wedge pillows so i get a good nights sleep tonight

friz - well it was about time i thought! i didnt want to be missing out on any due march ante-natal idle chat
i found some great maternity jeans friz - made by "Earl" jeans which are one of my faves even when not fat! they are a wicked price but if you live in jeans like i do - you might be able to justify it

Frizbe · 01/10/2005 19:10

I daren't ask the price tag on those Rom! dh would kill me if I start buying designer maternity wear! doesn't mind it for normal wear, but when only in it for 4-5-6mths.....

Frizbe · 01/10/2005 19:55

bitwintandem thinking of getting one of these girls, whaddya reckon?

RosiePosie · 01/10/2005 20:24

Hi Romilly, welcome to the thread.

Frizbe, I really seem to have sprouted over night, I actually have a bump now and none of my normal clothes fit anymore. Thank heavens I bought those over the bump jersey trousers last week. The pushchair looks good. Monbebe is quite a good make isn't it? There's so much choice though, and most of them are so similar, how do you know which one to go for?? How old is your dd? Someone has a dd the same age as mine, and I can't remember if it's you or not - she's 2 in November. Turned into a nightmare over night, tantrums. . one baby demolition squad, that type of thing!

Frizbe · 02/10/2005 04:52

Ah great dd's got a horrible cold, has woken up at 3.30/4am and now 4.30am, have administered calpol n calvol under pillow....poor mite.....mummy, tissue, poorly she keeps crying...awwww....blesss......

Hi RP! Yes dd is the same age as yours two in Nov, was thinking this pushchair as smallest one I've seen, that does 0+ in the rear seat! dh wants to go up to leeds to check it out, so looks like a trip up there! (if I can't find anywhere closer that does one!)

Frizbe · 02/10/2005 07:49

link check this out if you live in the south!

desperatehousewife · 02/10/2005 08:57

I've just done a thread on my buggy woes.

I'm really tall so need ajustable handle.
I have a 3 year old so need a single handle so I can hold his hand too.
I'd like it to be light as I'm likely to have a c-section, but sturdy enough for a buggy board as well.
To fold up small enough to go in back of car and on busses.

Not asking too much am I?!

I'm stumped.

Frizbe · 02/10/2005 10:22

Ah saw that DHW, no one come up with anything yet?

munz · 02/10/2005 10:29

morning friz! on with the potty training again then! lol. (fraid same again with the double pushchairs) althou a friend of mine had one and her view was the one in front of the other (like urs) was easier to manoover than the one side by side.

dhw - fraid I don't know anything about buggys/pushchairs - i'm rather shallow and go buy the look of them . hope you get the one whihc ticks all ur boxes thou.

of u girls with ur sprouting bumps! lol - althou i'm glad to still be wearing my clothes - even if I do look fat in them now! only 19 days till the next scan when we find out the sex! - YAY!!

girls, is anyone else ahem having trouble with pooping? and if u are how are u combatting it? - i've noticed that I seem to go two days (on thrid today) of no pooping, haven't had pains today thou like last time.

RosiePosie · 02/10/2005 11:34

Fybogel is fab, munz - yes I've been having a spot of bother! It's in sachets of orange or lemon flavoured powder, you make it into a drink. It tastes okay and does the job. . nice and gently!

Zooper is a good make, dhw, but I don't think their compact lightweight version has an adjustable handle.
