Expressmummy {{{Big Hugs}}} Huge shock, really hope things look up after the scan, I do know twins who have CF and they're both fine most of the time unless run down... scientists are also very close to finding a cure for it (according to a friend whose a Dr) and can treat it very well these days.

Munz, look on the bright side, whole bed to yourself, no snoring to put up with, eat what you like, when you like etc, etc....

It's good to hear people have more positive experiences of CF than me. Sorry mine was so negative. This was over 15 years ago that I knew the sisters - I'm sure things have improved for CF sufferers a lot in that time.

thank everyone for the messages i guess im just hanging on a thread hopefully it will be good news both my ds s are fine so a least i can focus on that ive had two healthy children

my scan is at 9 15 so at least i wont be waiting around all morning

goona go and try and rest now and try to get some sleep tonight (yeah right!!!!)

Expressmummy - please bear in mind that all the blood test has shown so far is that you're high risk - that doesn't mean that your baby has it. You may go and have the scan tomorrow and it be all clear. At least they've booked you straight in for a scan tomorrow - have to say for the NHS to get you in for a scan the next day is doing very well! Praying for you loads.

dene - YES, i know exactly how you feel, i have been horrendously sick since week 6 and i am now almost week 18. i couldnt eat a thing, so i am looking forward to the ravenous stage.

rom - 38 yrs old
second pregnancy, but first sadly ended in m/c
due date: 8th March - so 17+3 (same as Cadmum and Munz (depending on which date munz has chosen to believe )

friz - how did the jeans shopping go?

I felt very sick for a long time in my second pregnancy - until 18 or 20 weeks. It resulted in a girl. My first and this pregnancy, the sickness was not nearly so bad, ending at about the 12 week mark. First was a boy, and I can't wait to find out in two weeks time if this one is another boy, like I think it is!

rom - depend on my mood! lol - at the mo i'm beleiving the hopital date - but only co it' further along, and i'm an impatient mare! - even though I know thye're def wrong! have u got the date thru for ur next can yet? mine' 21t oct, i'll be exactly 20 weeks by my dates so we'll see what they have to say then. been getting a lot of aches and pains under my bump, and ahem my foof! lol - but am assuming all is normal - hopefully it comes an goes, no bleeding or anything, (and am trying my up most to relax now about things - but it's so hard to)

on the plus DH's friend's wife went into labour yesterday - he's hoping for a boy but the hospital have said a girl!

Munz - fantastic!! You are a computer whizz. Can you tell me what this means? R2 - Will only play on European Region 2 or multi-region DVD players.
I have a DVD player bought in the uk in boots 1 year ago, so do you think it will work?

erm think so will double check with DH thou, region 2 is our one I think, region 1 is for america and 3 is for anywhere else - I assume it will wor cos it's an english company.

hi all well after a 20 scan of my baby boy everything seems to be fine we had a good luck at his back and there are no breaks or wholes it was actually spina bifida they thought it was !!!!!!!

i feel great now knowing he is fine and to find out its another boy is great

they are going to scan me every 8 weeks now because women with high hormone count are at risk of small babies

Oh, EM you must be so relieved! Thank goodness for the all-clear and a scan eveny 8 weeks sounds nice too.

Congratulaions on another son. It will be SO hard for me not to find out the gender at my next scan...

I meant to add that I fell down the stairs this morning at 3:20. OUCH! I am bruised on my right forearm and my left shoulder and hip. Thankfully I didn?t land on my bump but I am some sore this morning!
