Happy Christmas one and all. I will be here with my 2 little boys, the oldest of which is very very excited about Father Christmas!

Bryher · 24/12/2010 19:03

Merry Christmas everyone!

Am hoping the ms stops long enough to enjoy it, going to my parents to be coddled for a bit :)

CappuccinoCarrie · 24/12/2010 23:14

Happy Christmas to everyone and your little beans

Very warm welcome to Davidtenantsmistress!

Nice to be on the same thread as you again.

Merry Christmas from Cambodia. We are busy making turkey with the trimmings but it is really to hot here for it to feel like Christmas...

Just back from Vietnam last night and I am feeling horrific with morning sickness. My company from Canada guessed that I must be expecting. (I suspect that the absence of a wine glass in my hand with dinners might have been a dead giveaway.) I pretended to have beer at the beach on an earlier expedition and then just traded cans with dh or strategically dumped the contents. My friend now knows that I am utterly MAD...

northeastmummy · 25/12/2010 15:57

Rubbish - just typed a whole message then lost it! It's not my day!!

Merry Christmas everyone, I hope you've all had a lovely day. I'm stuffed!

Unfortunately I started bleeding today and while I can't be absolutely certain, I'm fairly sure I'm miscarrying. I had just started to notice that my symptoms had all faded. At least I didn't have to worry for long.

I'm not too traumatised but am very disappointed.

Best of luck to all of you and lots of sticky Christmas dust your way!

Cadmum · 25/12/2010 16:10

I'm sorry northeast... Not a very pleasant Christmas surprise. Thinking of you. Sad

CappuccinoCarrie · 25/12/2010 18:14

Oh Northeastmummy I'm so :( what a rubbish thing to happen on Christmas day :(

DH is ill and FIL has the flu so we'll have to change our plans for tomorrow...but the kids are enjoying their new toys.

MrsVidic · 25/12/2010 19:02

sorry about your news NEM. I have had a rare but thoroughly appreciated symptom free ish day. Christmas was great but tiring and i am sure i have a small bump.

lilacblossom · 25/12/2010 21:25

Really sorry to hear your news, Northeastmummy. Thinking of you xx

Firawla · 25/12/2010 22:32

north east im so sorry, how crap for that to happen to you especially on xmas :(

littlemisslozza · 26/12/2010 08:25

Sorry to hear that northeastmummy.

sisterT · 26/12/2010 10:29

So sorry to hear your news NEM. Big hugs from Oxford. xx

wishwales · 26/12/2010 14:21

Hey northeastmummy - have faith. I had scary bleeding last week and even passed a few large clots but when I went for an emergency scan, the baby was fine. It is possible hunny to be ok. Best wishes.

CappuccinoCarrie · 26/12/2010 18:50

Any news NEM?
I easily look 5 month pg now, and I'm all of 6 weeks and 2 days Confused. Maybe its the Burger King, Costa coffee and turkey soup Grin
Weirdly with DD I totally went off coffee, the smell would make me wretch, whereas with DS I was fine. With this one I just don't fancy having coffee quite as much, and when I do have one I don't really enjoy it, but not in a sicky way.
My only time of sickness seems to be before lunch and before dinner when I get very hungry, other than that still worryingly symptom free. And this is the person who was pukey from 6 to 20 weeks last time. Must not panic.
The kids have been so grumpy we put them to bed at 6:15 tonight, and DH and I are about to settle down to a night of iplayer in bed so we can just doze off as and when. Think my parents are a bit annoyed we're not spending the evening with them since we're at their house, oh well!

northeastmummy · 26/12/2010 21:11

Hey there everyone! Thanks for all your well wishes. No news really. I've been bleeding heavily and am certain it's all over. I haven't done anything about it yet - I'll give the midwife a call in a few days time and let her know.

I'm really positive and looking forward to trying again!

Bryher · 26/12/2010 22:28

Sorry to hear that northeastmummy

I've heard that if you get medical attention soon, and maybe even analyse the blood (icky I know) they might be able to find out what went wrong to help for next time... Just a suggestion though, I know you might not want to go through all that hassle.

hugs and hope you are being looked after

KLou111 · 27/12/2010 11:52

So sorry Northeastmummy my thoughts are with you. Hoping that it's not the 'bad news' though. Hopefully the MW will tell you some good news asap.

Hope most of you all had a fantabulous Christmas Day and Boxing Day.

Hoping the little bean is OK in there as it had been fed so much shite, well, spring rolls, butter twists and chocolate is the shite. But also hope it's enjoyed the duck, gammon and cheeseboard too!! The brie is still wrapped up for hubby, staring me in the face in the fridge, willing me to open it, but I shall resist!
Managed to cook for the last 2 days without gagging, and feel as though I have just eated for the hell of it! Had a 'normal' bowl of muesli this morning, need to get some sort of fibre in there!!

KLou111 · 27/12/2010 11:53

*eaten

WhenStNixgotstuckuptheChimney · 27/12/2010 18:07

Oh north east I am so sorry :( I hope you are ok xxx

Not the time of year for it, but when is??

I am off to the epu this week as have had brown goo over Christmas! Fx x

WhenStNixgotstuckuptheChimney · 27/12/2010 18:10

Cappucino... That's how my sickness gets, before I eat! Related to blood sugar am certain! I had that with my first pg which went to term and have puked precisely 5 times in 3 PG. Some just get a bit of nausea and nothing else!

TerrysNo2 · 27/12/2010 19:56

Evening all, just popping on to say goodbye. I started MC on Christmas Eve, clotting on Christmas Day and had a -ve test today, I am so very sad.

Wishing you all the best of luck with healthy and happy pregnancies and lovely little babies in August.

NEMummy I hope we may see each other again soon on an AN thread.

ochaye · 27/12/2010 20:20

So sorry TerrysNo2. I'll keep my eyes peeled for you! I'm planning to try again straight away. I know they say to leave it for a cycle but I think that's mainly because it's hard to date the pregnancy otherwise. Last time I mc'd I went for it straight away and have DD2 to show for it.

What about you?

ochaye · 27/12/2010 20:20

Oh ... I took the change of thread opportunity to change my name by the way!!! I'm nemummy!

Firawla · 27/12/2010 20:22

:( so sorry to hear that terry

spilttheteaagain · 27/12/2010 20:55

northeastmummy and terrys love to you both. So sorry x
