That floats on high o'er vales and hills
When all at once I saw a crowd
Of cackling, quaffing, ne-er-do-wells

Pull up a seat, grap a glass of vino and a piece of sushi, it's Delitime again.

Pony is right, you can do underwires all the way through if they're properly fitted. The only reason I switched was because I was clearly growing out of my underwires, and Big N Busty bras are so expensive that the thought of growing out of another set before the baby arrives made my bank balance cry.

At least with these Bravado ones there is room to grow a bit more without forking out £100 on new bras I might only wear for 2 months.

OkieCokie · 10/11/2010 09:30

I agree Rocket M&S bras are crap and they can't measure either. Another vote here for Bravado (thanks to moo for getting us onto these) and also Anita bras are comfy. Neither are going to set things on fire for your fella but hey, comfort all the way. Hot Milk have been crap for me. Ordered a couple and they just don't fit despite being quite pretty.

I have already been to Sainsbury's this morning. Some twat parked too close to me and I could not get in the driver's side. Had to climb over the passenger side to get in the car, not a great look with my arse in the windscreen.

PollyPoo · 10/11/2010 10:50

Thanks MyLittlePony, that is right up my street. Wink I have put forth my rage thoughts on the matter.

I agree M&S bras are rubbish and bravado are fab. I have bought nursing bras throughout pregnancy (underwires were too hurty so couldn't wait to get rid of them) because your buzzwams and back measurement will change size again after the baybee is born. After the initial engorgement I dropped from a 40f to a 36e within 3 or 4 weeks with Boo. There is of course no guarantee that any of the bras I have will actually fit after I've laid this one, but fingers crossed. If it saves a bit it is worth it.

Okes I can't believe you had to clamber through the car! I'd have marched back into the shop and asked them to put a tannoy out for the twatty person parked next to you! You needed moo with you.... Wink Speaking of which, is she laying yet?

OkieCokie · 10/11/2010 10:58

I had a text from moo and she is at hospital for her sweep and check up. Let's just see if she comes out with or without baybeeee. Maybe she will refuse to leave without one and just take the first one she sees and then she can remove the cushion from under her top..

AlpinePony · 10/11/2010 11:21

Tbh I'm starting to think that moo is just one of those crazy ladies who pretends they're pregnant (dog substitute?).

polly I shall go read now! Grin

Medee · 10/11/2010 14:22

12 pages on that AIBU - must a be corker!

PollyPoo · 10/11/2010 14:47

Blimey it is quiet in here. Any news from Moo yet Okes?

Just had midwife appt. All fine, she is visiting me at home at 36 wks to do paperwork for homebirth. SPD symptoms eased off due to not overdoing things, but now I am bored stupid. Come on someone, lay a baybee and give me something to get excited about!

Casserole · 10/11/2010 15:07

Polpot I hesitate always to mention this as it sounds like I am trying to recruit the world into a religion or a giant pyramid selling scheme, but at college they teach us specific pubic symphysis adjustments to do on the diffed. So it might be worth you seeking out a chiro. You'd need to look for a McTimoney chiro, I can only vouch that we are taught those adjustments, don't know if the other colleges do similar. Our big selling point is that we're supergentle and so useful for differed and babies / children / elderly people as well as the "shove your leg behind your head and crack" type thing.

You can look one up here if you're interested:

Muser · 10/11/2010 15:42

I've just had the first person tell me I'm huge and ask if it's a big baby. I feel a bit of a freak now. I don't actually think I'm even that big.

OP posts:
PollyPoo · 10/11/2010 15:49

How rude Muse! I hate it when people feel they have the right to comment on my size and shape and make judgements about the size of baybee. It gives me Teh Rage. Angry

Thanks Cass, will check out the link now. Will give me something to do seeing as no-one is laying a baby.

PollyPoo · 10/11/2010 15:56

Bum, it cannot find anyone in our area. I am going to have to resort to making soup now. God I am bored.

Casserole · 10/11/2010 16:02

Hmm, people have had trouble with it before Poll. You could try Yellow Pages, they should be listed in there - look under chiros but then there is usually a group advert of all the McTs.

What sort of soup? I am hungry....

Muse someone looked at me once last time round and thoughtfully remarked "You're not exactly blooming, are you?" !! People are idiots. Trufax.

PollyPoo · 10/11/2010 16:09

Carrot and coriander Cass, shall I save you some? Thanks for info, will check out yellow pages.

PerfectDromedary · 10/11/2010 16:11

Judgy pregnancy audiences are annoying.

I am being such a smug preggo at the moment, hence the lack of posting or you all might stone me. I'm just really, really enjoying this - it's nice to put clothes on over a proper pregnancy curvy tummy and not feel fat, it's amazing to feel the baby kick (s/he is currently line-dancing, I think) and I can't believe that I'm a growing a small person. It's a mirrukl, hallelujah.

Normal service will be resumed shortly, I just wanted to share.

Muser · 10/11/2010 16:37

I'm quite smug to Drom. I actually like that I look properly pregnant now. I don't mind people saying "wow you look pregnant", it was the big baby comment that threw me.

And I've just been sat in a meeting and realised that (1)baby was kicking above my belly button and (2)I could easily feel it. T'was lovely.

OP posts:
Medee · 10/11/2010 16:42

baby has been very active today. Felt something more distinctive of a kick just yesterday. today just feels like more of the usual tumbling bubbles.

Casserole · 10/11/2010 16:49

No, don't feel bad about feeling positive / glowy / smug / gorgeous! It's all been first trimester and last trimester stuff recently and it can be so grim at both those ends.... I LOVED the middle bit where I finally looked pregnant and not fat and had energy and could do stuff without getting swollen ankles and breathless!

So smug away, I say Grin

TwinkleToes76 · 10/11/2010 18:09

I loved my entire pregnancy last time and relished my huge belly so definitely smug away...Gives us sickies something positive to look forward to!

A friend of mine gave birth yesterday after a 54 HOUR labour! Shock

rocketleaf · 10/11/2010 19:34

I think that lovely drom actually feeling quite a bit better today. Not sure if its the beginning of the end of MS or just that today has been pretty mental or possibly that I ate my own body weight in chocolate cornflake cakes this avo. Also loving the the fact I don't have to hide my bump anymore even tho its minuscule and just looks like the result of the above mentioned over indulgence, at least I know its not :o

On the down side I have definitely got no job in January which is a bit of a worry although not a surprise. Hoping I can pick up a bit of freelance cos if not who in their right mind is going to employ a 4 month differ? Eek!

PollyPoo · 10/11/2010 22:05

Rocket sorry to hear about your job, that is a bummer. Sad

Has anyone heard from MooMa?

Drom tis not smug at all. I love being pregnant. There is nothing quite like feeling your baby wriggle around and seeing your bump move. I luff it. Especially the second trimester. Grin

Medee · 10/11/2010 22:08

RL - I got a 6 month contract at 3 months diffed, so worked out perfectly. I was lucky though, I recognise. Boss did start today saying January or February in a conversation about what I will be working on for the next wee while, when I have had end of Feb in my head (but tbh, if it finished earlier I wouldn't be too upset, as I would have a valid excuse to give MrM for stopping work early!)

Medee · 10/11/2010 22:10

let's hope she is snuggling her new born now!

Muser · 10/11/2010 22:24

Yes, hopefully moo has laid and is resting in her lavender field.

OP posts:
Scorpette · 10/11/2010 23:10

To be fair, though, Medee, you only got that because you pulled off your interview suit halfway through to reveal a red sequinned leotard and dazzled them with a 15-minute jazz tap solo... Wink

Rockyroad (oooh, I want some now!), so sorry to hear about the job. Worraloadacrap Sad You can join me after Xmas in Sad Dole Scum Loser Corner, if you wish (back-to-back Jeremy Kyle, 6 cans of Special Brew before lunchtime). Am also looking for work but evil ex-boss has gone menkul, as I've detailed bfore, so no reference and I'm too ill right now to work (really). You'll sort summat out, am sure - you're too groovy not to

Am hoping that it's No News Is Good News regarding radio silence from Moo Grin Is a sweep done with black pepper to make you sneeze? [innocent]

CluckyKate · 11/11/2010 06:34

Hey, can I join you in the shirkers corner Scorps pleese - we were told of redundancies yesterday and I'm one of themSad Sad Sad

Feeling pretty crapola about it all tbh. Haven't stopped crying since so if anyone has any tips on how to stop these fecking waterworks that would be great [weak smile]

Oi finks I need to man-up
