Um, PESHes. Is it possible I could have done myself a serious injury carrying a Very Heavy Cake last night (and also a Very Heavy cast-iron stewpot)? Am having a tiny bit of brown spotting and some odd crampy pains in the fanjo. Baby is kicking and midwife has reassured me all is fine. Just wondered if anyone else had had this sort of lark at around 23 weeks?

drommie I fink your MW is very wise and not to worry. I had teeny tiny bit at one point (can't remember when now) and they told me that as the baby burrows in, little capillaries can break off which is the spotting. Really nowt to worry about I think. If it continues obviously ring back but a leetle bit is normale.

Rocket as a lady 1 day away from EDD, I'd say standing up for a TV ad break is about as much as I'd fancy right now. Soz.

The witching hour between 4 and 5.30am is now pissing me right off. Peeing, can't turn over/get comfy/dog in the way wanting to cuddle. Arghhh. Tired again. Had 3 lots of crampy feelings in the night which did make me wonder, but nothing happened.

Morning PESHies. As a newly qualified differ on project MAD I thought I would come and mark my place. I bring copious amounts of cake as on offering to you lovely ladeez (in fact I have stolen owlies cupcakes from Le Palais, but don't tell her!). I'm still happily taking a scenic boat ride down De Nile for the moment as it's early days but thought I would say a quick hello.

We had our second 20week scan this morning, and baby in a much better place - still very wriggly, but the sonographer saw everything she needed to (another lovely lady who talked us through everything she was looking at.) She was so enthisiastic about the baby - it's gorgeous, it's lovely, I could scan you all day - that you could almost believe that she didn't already do this 20 times a day!

muse glad you are having a lovely time in ThisScotland, hope you feel less sick.
