Congrat meansbeans sounds like a great labour. Enjoy your daughter and what a lovely name

Tyson glad things went ok with your sister and hope you can manage to work things out.

Ilgh when I had dodgy tummy mw told me baby would be fine if I didn't eat for up to 48 hours as long as I kept my blood sugar up with drinks like sprite. Hope u feel better

Had day decorating yesterday. Got the nursery and stairs and landing painted so feeling more positive and hope we can make as much progress today

Hermya321 · 26/09/2010 10:04

ILGH How did the scan go?

Jenimoo How you feeling?

Abfab Some people don't actually feel their braxton hicks. I'm sure if you're worried though you can have a quick word with the midwife.

Hope everyone else is well this morning.

35+6

jennimoo · 26/09/2010 10:06

I think my waters are leaking now, just had to change knickers and put pad in and didn't smell like pee. Better start timing properly I think...

Tyson86 · 26/09/2010 10:32

jennimoo ope everything goes ok, sounds positive though x

Tyson86 · 26/09/2010 10:33

Hope!

nymphadora · 26/09/2010 11:06

jennimoo ooh sounds like something is happening. Check in with the hosp just in case as I think you are still earlyish?

meanbeans I am so looking Forward to bfeeding!

Yesterday at friends house her baby kept crawling down my chest & pecking , think she could smell milk as she didn't do it on dh

jennimoo · 26/09/2010 11:12

Contractions varied amounts apart (4-10mins) but getting more painful. Will call in a bit I think. I am 38+5 so not really early. Having hb and dh not sure when to start filling the pool now!

nymphadora · 26/09/2010 11:32

Ah thats ok then, I've mixed you up with someone at 36 weeks

Better get the pool ready for when you need it for pain relief. Warm water was lovely I remember from last time!

Also we love a live birth thread Wink

ILoveGregoryHouse · 26/09/2010 11:50

Jennimoo, get filling the pool! So exciting!

Scan was really good, placenta is actually still up high and dd is still a dd. She is 2.3kg right now and doc reckons around 3kg at term. Lovely.

AbFabT · 26/09/2010 12:15

Good luck for today if this is it, jennimoo!

meansbeans, glad Miss SR is feeding and snuggling well, and your other children are adapting beautifully. I look forward to the photos.

Elsa/Hermya, did mention to mw I've felt no BHs yet, she said I will be having them by now, just one of those people who don't feel them. I find that hard to believe - I thought they were meant to be unmissable?

ILGH, glad the scan was good!

38+6.

AbFab With my 1st dc i never felt any BH, this time ive felt them but not very often.

Jennimoo Im very excited for you!

SeaShellsOnTheSeaShore · 26/09/2010 12:45

My bh arent painfull Abfab, just turn my belly solid- everyone is different though.

Jenimoo- good luck!!! Try to keep moving to aid progression-things can slow slightly in the water as it's so lovely!

Hermya321 · 26/09/2010 13:16

Abfab I have no idea if I'm feeling BH or not, I kind of get a bit crampy every now and then but thats about it. My belly does go hard, but it's nothing painful and sometimes I don't even notice them.

Jenimoo Ooooooo good luck!!!

nymphadora · 26/09/2010 13:54

abfab this is the first time I've had BH that I noticed. V painful this time though. Not helped by baby stripping over them
