hello 2shoes here
just wanted to wish you all a happy Christmas, I know we have a new thread, but felt I needed to say it on this one.
Christmas isn't easy as this is when it all "started" add into that my mum died at the beginning of December, years ago.
it is the anniversary month of 2 of dd's classmates and my auntie, so lots of sad memories.
sadly yet again I won't be seeing my brother, he wants me to drive for one and half hours, he has booked the 2 bank holidays in a guest house(him and SIL) in the place where dad lived.......yeah that would be great, going there at Christmas and no dad or SM, so I am not going to meet him.
wtf he thinks we can do in December in seaside place(small) everything will be closed and dd is in a wheelchair, what fun.

Much love 2shoes - I really don't blame you for not going to meet DB, what a moron.

Just wanted to say 'hi' - this was my 2nd Christmas without Mum Sad and we had a family get-together which eased the fact she was missing. I actually felt it more last night! Starting another year without her is tough going. Hope everyone got through Xmas.....thinking of you all x

2shoes · 02/01/2011 18:52

Haribolicious its is hard isn't it, second one with out my dad, I do find this time of year so hard as it is when it all started.
but for some reason it wasn't quite so bad this time. maybe cos dd and ds were unwell , so I got taken up with that.
love to all xx

I agree it is a tough time of year. NYE was my birthday and I found it extremely tough. 11pm-ish saw me sobbing, crying and shouting for my mum and dad. Not a good time, but it seems to have got some of it out of my system I think.

Still, baby due in six weeks so time to refocus.
