shabbapinkfrog · 20/12/2009 00:45

thank you Trips - my head is full of emotions and, as for my heart, I cant even go there. I have only met my buddy Trips once, in RL, but our friendship will last forever and a day. I cant quite cope at the moment without my Gareth and Matthew....I know I will and I know I can....it is just so very difficult xxxx

shelleylou · 20/12/2009 09:23

morning. I cant believe people still dont know about my db! Went out last night, was outside one of the pubs (had to come out as too hard being in there as db used to drink in there). The barman came over to me and told me he knows my db, i asked which one and said you know what happened then. Nope had to explain for the umpteenth time and got upset.

About a week after Gareth died I still had my twin buggy because I couldn't afford to get a single one. I walked through our local town with just Danny in it. A 'neighbour' came right up to me and said 'Have you got rid of the other little 'un then!!'

I just stared at her and said 'Actually the other little 'un died last week!'

She then came out with the classic comments 'Well, its a blessing he was very poorly!!' and the classic line of all time, one week after 'ARE YOU OVER IT NOW THEN!!'

shelleylou · 20/12/2009 09:45

your nieghbour is a moron!! sorry cant think of any other way to describe someone spouting those sort of comments. Some people have no sense at all.

My mum was asked if she had any other children, mum told them she had me and another son who lived at home. Then came out with well you still have children, its not like its your only child.

shabbapinkfrog · 20/12/2009 09:48

Oh aye I have heard loads of those 'foot in mouth' lines!!

Hello ladies

How LOVELY to see you Trips. Such fantastic news about your dh. I think of you all often and wonder how you are getting on.

Hello Brandy, you're always welcome here. Even if you only want to come on here when things are too much, or if you want to talk about Christina, that's fine. The door is ALWAYS open xxx

triplets · 20/12/2009 15:08

Me again, will you all please send love up to heaven for a girl I have never met? I belong to the Macmillen Cancer support group and have just heard that Claire died this morning, just 23, bowel/liver cancer like Harry. Her Dad Gary has been posting for over a year, we are a lovely group of about 20, patients or carers. Anna died in Aug, same cancer, age 27, I feel gutted, so so sad Thank you xx
