Morning TW - glad my birthday is over, to be honest!! Never had such a bad tempered birthday ever LOL!!

The tree is still standing....not looking forward to Lew (the destroyer) coming this afternoon - he wont be able to resist it.

We are having long 'meaningful' conversations every afternoon LOL - they all involve the 'obidob???'

'Andma - obidob, dobiob, obidob, obi?'

Of course I know exactly what he means

peterpansmum · 10/12/2009 07:30

Morning everyone (cough cough splutter splutter!!!) Been up half the night feeling crap so thought i'd come downstairs and do some christmas shopping (or at least browse some meaningless nonsense) but at 3am someone decided to make my internet connection unavailable ARGGHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!

Hope you had a reasonable night shabs xxx Totally expecting a tree tantrum when DH finally gives into DS1's pressure!

hazygirl · 10/12/2009 07:32

morning girls, shabs hope your ok,its a funny time of year aint it,went to watch nativity play yesterday, them kids are brill back there later as oldest granddaughters turn.
dd1 has a friend who had twin boys same week as our youngest granddaughter was born, they were in magazine as amazing both born with identical heart problems, so rushed to another hospital and operated on,anyway last year while she was busy one passed away,i met her in september again as she has moved away, little boy adorable but ill ,anyway he has had a heart transplant and doing ok ,but long way to go ,so please say a prayer, but also somewhere is an amazing mummy and daddy that donated to save him,god life is crap innit.

shabbapinkfrog · 10/12/2009 08:25

Oh Hazy will be thinking about the twins Mummy and Daddy....life is a pile of crap.

shabbapinkfrog · 11/12/2009 06:41

shelleylou · 11/12/2009 09:25

morning shabs. Im having yet another low day going doctors later see if they can or will help. Got a busy day though so hopefully that will keep me occupied. How are you?

shabbapinkfrog · 11/12/2009 09:35

Much better today love - Doctors sounds a good idea to me - what about asking if you can have a gab with a counsellor? It cant hurt at all. Hope you get the help you want. Will be thinking about you today, as always xxx

travellingwilbury · 11/12/2009 09:39

Hey EM, hope you're ok today. Not been around much i know, very depressed and not much to say. Keep having dreams of burying my brother as a little boy - lovely. But I pop in from time to time to see how people are getting on. x

MissM · 11/12/2009 13:06

Oops, put my message on the wrong thread. Hope you guys are all ok too x

shabbapinkfrog · 11/12/2009 13:40

No probs Miss M

Think all my friends on this thread, like myself, are doing a lot of those fixed smiles and getting through the Festive season best we can

shelleylou · 11/12/2009 13:55

Doctor gave me some sleeping tablets, dont think she was overly keen to do so. Going to phone a playschool and see if they will have ds if i explain the situation to them as advised by doctor cant do any harm. I'm waiting to be put in touch with a 'befriender' through a charity. So will be able to talk to someone who has been through a similar experience to myself. Glad your better today,

hazygirl · 11/12/2009 16:14

dd had a scan today ,another girlxx
im very mixed up,iykwim ,alls well due april.hope everyone ok,hugs to you all my lovesxx

shabbapinkfrog · 11/12/2009 16:18

I know what you mean Hazy. Were you kind of hoping for a little boy - but also dreading the new baby being a little boy? I felt like that when I was expecting Tom.

The good thing is that everything is ok. Sending my love xxxx

hazygirl · 11/12/2009 16:21

i dont know shabs,wat i wantx

shabbapinkfrog · 11/12/2009 16:27

I do. You want you precious Jayden. I cant imagine how you are walking this crappy path Hazy. I think about you and look at Lewis playing and it never fails to make me cry. This is a rubbish time of the year for everyone who is missing a loved one who is not physically here anymore. Chin up love - paint your smile on - you can do it - I know you can xxxxx

peterpansmum · 11/12/2009 16:37

Glad all is ok Hazy xx

We got a christmas card today that rocked my day - someone we don't see regularly addressed it to all four of us I've been in bits today. Thankfully DH been off today and he called the folk and explained. total mixed emotions. p'd off that i had forgotten to tell them and could have pre-empted situation but overwhelming grief for what or rather who i'm missing at the moment.

Hope everyone else having a better day. The painted smile is looking a bit cracked at the moment but i'd better get my act together for another weekend heh!

MissM · 11/12/2009 21:25

I read a lovely article in the Guardian last week by a journalist who'd lost his son to cancer at the age of 13. (I say 'lovely' because it was beautifully written - obviously I had tears streaming down my face after line 1). Anyway, he referred to 'bloody Christmas day'. That just about summed it up for me.

Sorry, typing is crap - have a had a few glasses of wine.

hazygirl · 11/12/2009 22:10
