Yes I think it is about 18 months since we started our special thread. xx

frasersmummy · 22/11/2009 19:12

There was a bit of bitching going on in another thread which although wasnt aimed directly at us certainly got our hackels up. There was a few of us had a rant but poor shabster got reported because she blamed the main trouble maker of the time who was in hiding at the time
I think all the people involved in that thread have left but our shabster is still here

Ah see tinkerbell the grass is always greener I would love to have xmas in the sun just once.

I dont know what to say re ttc except I hope it happens soon for both of you and I hope dh finds a job tinkerbell..its horrid being so unsettled

tinkerbellesmuse · 23/11/2009 08:37

Thanks everyone for being so kind - I'm such a miserable cow at the moment everything seems like hard work and I'd rather not bother. I know I'm whingey so sorry and thanks

FM what a monkey! I got caught out by DD a couple of weeks ago "I'm sooooooooooo poooooooorly I can't go to school and then five minutes after drop off she's in her ballet uniform asking if I want to see her show!

shabbapinkfrog · 23/11/2009 10:38

My wonderful nieces little girl (she's 4) is really poorly. Beth was born with Wolf Hirschhorns syndrome. She has multiple problems and they have always known her life expectancy is very short. My niece has two sons (older than Beth) and a little girl (younger than Beth.) I can tell by her email words that she is worried sick and has a very heavy heart full of problems today. Oh please God - if you do exist - keep my niece and Beth uppermost in your mind today. xxx

ILikeToMoveItMoveIt · 23/11/2009 11:58

Oh Shabs

I remember you mentioning Beth before. Healing vibes being sent her way pronto xxx

Don't apologise tbm, I think it's good to have a rant and a moan as it gets it out of your system.

hazygirl · 23/11/2009 16:33

oh shabs xxthinking of you today,xx

frasersmummy · 23/11/2009 19:11

oh shabba ..

I remember you talking about Beth going through a tough time before ..it must be sooo heartbreaking watching her struggle.. will remember her in our prayers tonight

tinkerbell I dont think you are a moany cow at all. I am glad you can come on here and say what you feel. Its soo much better for you to admit how you feel rather than hide it

shabbapinkfrog · 23/11/2009 19:22

Thanks for all your lovely thoughts and words girls I will pass them onto Shelley (my niece). Not heard from her for quite a few hours - will keep you all updated. xx

ZiggyMama · 23/11/2009 21:59

Love to Shelley and little Beth, Shabba - in my prayers tonight.

FM - hope Ross is feeling better; perhaps he just wanted a day with mummy.

shabbapinkfrog · 23/11/2009 22:03

Shelley eventually just took Beth into her 'usual' hospital - they kept her in 3 hours??????????????? 'Nothing they can do to make her any more comfortable' WTF!!!!

So my dear niece will have to (with her DH's help) get all the other 3 children settled, then Shelley will lay awake all night giving Beth all the drugs she has to have and watching her having fits etc etc.

God if you exist and if you are there please watch over my dear relatives tonight xxx

tinkerbellesmuse · 24/11/2009 05:06

Oh Shabs that is just dreadful. I hope today is easier for all.

shabbapinkfrog · 24/11/2009 06:47

Morning girls xxx

Thank you TBM - you are right it is dreadful. I think it seems worse when we all know, on this thread, how precious life is. Beth has multiple massive problems but, luckily for her, amazing parents and 3 siblings who adore her xxx

travellingwilbury · 24/11/2009 07:17

Good morning all

Shabs Shelley and Beth are in my thoughts , I hope that little girl has managed to get some rest last night xx.

OP posts:
shabbapinkfrog · 24/11/2009 07:21

Thank you TW - I hope they both got some rest. I remember Shelley saying to me, about 11 years ago when she was expecting her first child 'Im not a bit maternal, not sure if I am going to be a good Mum!'

Her Dad, My DH's eldest brother, died about 13 years ago - he was only 45 - had a massive un-expected heart attack. It was such a difficult time for everybody. I made a silent pact to my lovely BIL that I would do anything in my power to look after my SIL and her two daughters.

shabbapinkfrog · 24/11/2009 07:24

Beth has all the symptoms and conditions that are described here

travellingwilbury · 24/11/2009 07:26

Bless her Shabs , Beth sounds like she has got a lovely mum (and auntie of course )
