I have a brain tumour and have recently been told I have months and not years to live. My main concern is now for my family. I have a 3 1/2 year old beautiful boy. Can anyone please help with advise for my husband and I. What on earth do we do to make this easier on a little boy? Also I am trying to write a letter to my husband, but finding it difficult to find the words. Can anyone suggest any reading material or farewell peoms?

Night - so very, very sorry to hear your devastating news. There have been some wonderful suggestions from others on this thread and I don't have anything more to add, but couldn't pass by without sending you my thoughts and (((((((hugs)))))))). Take care of yourself and I hope you and your family find the strength to see you through this incredibly difficult time.xxx

Night - have just been speaking to dh about this thread - without wanting to give you false hope, there is an experimental drug available - Temozolomide (Temodar is the brand name). It does not work on all brain tumours - does depend upon the location, size and nature, but if it is suitable then it can apparently be very effective. Of course - this may have already been considered in your case but if not, then must be worth enquiring of your consultant? xx
