Morning all x

Shabs how you doing ? I always think Vera Lynn sound so emotional herself when she sings that song , I hope you had a good nights sleep x

Good luck at work today fm

spilt has she e mailed you back yet ?

shabbapinkfrog · 14/04/2011 06:37

Not doing too bad thanks. However, I reckon that one day soon I will actually wake up before I go to sleep - my sleep pattern is like a new born baby!!!!

travellingwilbury · 14/04/2011 06:42

That is horrid , I hate not sleeping properly (especially when everyone else in the house can)

spilttheteaagain · 14/04/2011 06:43

Morning all x

Nothing back yet, but she's, ahem, not an early riser so I'm not expecting anything for a while! Will keep you posted.

Hope the day treats you all gently x

AxisofEvil · 14/04/2011 09:56

Anyone hear the section on stillbirths today on Radio 4? Good to hear the issue getting more publicity but still sad to listen to for me.

janedoe25 · 14/04/2011 10:05

hi axis SANDS has launched a media campain following the reports in the Lancet journal. I think its great that it will raise awarness but it is still hard to read. Hope you are ok x

CheeseandGherkins · 14/04/2011 14:19

Afternoon all, glad the poem was appreciated, didn't want to upset anyone but it's so appropriate I thought. Hope it was ok to post it.

I've not seen the new media campaign from SANDS, will have to have a look.

shabba I've only just sorted my sleep pattern out, sort of, and am finally sleeping more than 3 hours at a time. Everything is harder when you don't sleep properly :(

spilt I think that was a good thing to say and I hope she takes it the way she should. Had problems with dh's family (mil and bil mainly) following this and I've been treated disgustingly by them at times and really had to put myself last but I only did for dh's sake. It really hurt me to have to be sorry to other people for them treating me like crap, can you tell I'm still bitter? I only did it for dh though. Anyway, rambling! Hope you're ok today.

hope all are getting by today xx

We are coming to the end of another thread , any suggestions/offers to who would like to do the next one ?

How is everyone doing ?

shabbapinkfrog · 14/04/2011 21:06

I dont mind doing it - but also dont mind, at all, if one of you other ladies would like to. xxx

frasersmummy · 14/04/2011 21:23

I was wondering if it would be nice to start a new thread tomorrow in fraser's name seeing as its his b/day

what do you think ladies?

travellingwilbury · 14/04/2011 21:24

I think that would be perfect fm .

How did work go today ? I have been thinking about you xx

shabbapinkfrog · 14/04/2011 21:26

Oh yes Fmammy - I think that would be wonderful. I have bought a new, beautiful vanilla scented candle in honour of his birthday. Lew saw it and said 'Is it your fwends babies birthday tomorrow andma?' 'Yes my love it is.' 'Wait for me to come after night time so me can sing.'

He gets here about 7am - so, yes, I suppose it is after night time!!!

frasersmummy · 14/04/2011 21:42

I went to work and and they said what are you doing here you nutter.. you are supposed to be working from home... when I said I thoght it was just wed and Friday they said yeah whats the point in that

CheeseandGherkins · 14/04/2011 21:46

That seems a lovely idea FM

The whole of December seems bad to me now, and I used to love Christmas so much :( I was due on Dec 23rd with Scarlett but I last felt her move late on Dec 1st, then we found out on Dec 2nd that she had died :( also mil's birthday. I carried her until Dec 6th, went in to be induced on the 5th but she came on the 6th. We had her funeral on Dec 29th :( Dreading the whole month, I know it's months away yet though.

travellingwilbury · 14/04/2011 21:47

How nice are they ? Well done your work ! It is nice to hear that sometimes just sometimes the muggles "get it"

shabbapinkfrog · 14/04/2011 21:48

peterpansmum · 14/04/2011 22:36

Evening all x I've had a roughish day today. Resulted in planting sunflower seeds with ds1 then arguing with dh! Got plenty seeds left (they were dried from sunflowers planted after our 'walk for Gregor' last year) so if any of you who are not on my FB want some to plant then please do inbox me your address xx
FM - think starting a new thread on your darling Fraser's bday is a lovely idea. sounds like your work folks do 'get it' x
Cheese - I can understand your december is my march, hang around we will hold your hand when december comes xx

lavandes · 14/04/2011 22:49

Hi ladies xx

Lovely idea for Fraser's birthday fm xx

I am struggling through April. It is so horrible. I can't believe it is nearly a year. But I have survived I think. All these dates, I will be glad when May arrives. How on earth we get through is beyond belief. xx

Lovely new thread title.

Lavendes thank you for this thread. We have had lots of new mums join us, very sadly. I hope we can all continue to help each other and offer a hand to anyone struggling to get through the day.
