A little experiment, can you identify the sex of a baby when they're wearing neutral clothes?

This is something that fasinates me! I have a 7 month old and I really think without wearing gender typical clothing you would have no idea of my babys sex.

I have put a picture of my baby of my profile, can you guess the sex?

Would be interesting to see others DC too!

Twin 1 boy
Twin 2 girl
?

beesonmummyshead · 26/04/2010 15:36

starberries - both boys (though twin 2 does look more feminine)

KiddingAnxiously · 26/04/2010 15:49

Both girls...

MrsJohnDeere · 26/04/2010 15:57

1.Boy

maxybrown · 26/04/2010 16:12

hmmmm......both girls?

lanismum · 26/04/2010 16:39

I would say 1-boy, 2-girl too.

CuppaTeaJanice · 26/04/2010 18:16

Starberries - Twin 1 - boy. Twin 2 - girl.

I'm more certain about twin 1 though.

Starberries · 26/04/2010 18:17

Twin 1 is a boy, Twin 2 is a girl

I think they are very obvious, although if I'd just shown you Twin 2 with no comparison do you think some of you would have said boy? Or vice versa?

Shitemum · 26/04/2010 18:22

Boy

memoo · 26/04/2010 18:39

Starberries I think you'd know without the comparrison you can just tell!

Seeker, I think the dress is a give away so envious of you living on a boat!

starberries, I think that the girl looks very like a girl, and the comparison helps to identify the other as a boy. But I would be less sure of 1 if it was just a picture of him.

DitaVonCheese · 26/04/2010 19:24

I think having the two to compare definitely made it easier.

Firawla · 26/04/2010 22:43

i've put some on my profile can someone guess
both have been mistaken for the other gender b4 so will be interested to see what you think

Firawla · 26/04/2010 22:49

sorry i think i put them in the wrong place not working

DitaVonCheese · 27/04/2010 22:18

You need to make your profile public!

WornOutMum78 · 28/04/2010 21:30

My goodness, it just shows you how much we do rely on the clothes to tell us girl or boy.

I'm going to go with girl but that's a wild stab in the dark. It could go either way!!

beammeupscotty · 28/04/2010 21:51

Girl 99% sure
