I kept smelling a funny smell in their room, so since I had a full day today to do cleaning I decided to investigate where it was coming from. I wish I hadn't now. <don't read the next bit if you are squeamish/eating> They have a pink bucket/bin with a lid in the corner of the room. I never really empty it much because they are not allowed to eat upstairs and don't play up there much so it's never used (I thought!). The smell seemed to be eminating from this corner. I lifted the lid off the bucket and it was half full of urine and feaces. The smell was that bad once the lid was off I was actually sick. What on earth would make them think that this is okay? They are 6 and half and three. They are both denying it. Dd2 says it was the dog [hmm] [angry] dd1 knows nothing. <continues bleaching things>
