Looking for an under used pretty girls name?

Just as the title says really.
We've chosen Patrick with everyone on heres help, think its a lovely underused traditional name.
Now we are trying to find the equivalent for a girl.

But.... needs to go with ds's Alfie and Archie and a surname of one syllable beginning with C (so unfortunately Rose is out). I would also like something that is adaptable, so you can have a cute name (maybe nn) or a serious name when older.

I don't want much I know

Any help would be most appreciated.

If you like Rose but too short how about:

Rosalind
Rosa
Rosamund
Rosalyn
Rosalie

can still then use Rosie as nn

Thanks Louplet, I like Rosalie, as softer than the others, only thing is my mum said sounds like Gypsy Rosa lee and now I cant seem to say it right also I think its becoming quite popular because of Twilight, not that this would necessary put me off as Esme is on our list.

Yes, I like Rosalind with Ros for short. Josephine and Josceline both nice too. You could have Josie or Jos(s) for them.

I second thesecondcoming....Isobel/Isabel/Isabelle and Evelyn/Evie etc all massivly overused. I know at least 4 of each all under 3!!

Isobel etc is certainly NOT massively overused up here and am fed up saying it

Op - it depends on where you are in the country, we are in Scotland, we have an Isabella and she is the only one we know apart from friends daughter who is 4yrs younger

I don't know any other Isabel's other than my own either!

Dizzydixies, I seem to follow you around on these name threads!

Elizabeth, classic but not overused these days.
Rebecca
Emma is lovely
My DD has a friend called Anya, which I think is really pretty.

Or Brigit

Rosemary is lovely. Although I'm also more of a Rosanna fancier.

I think the only possible problem with Evelyn is that IMO she will be Evie to a lot of people and there are SO many Evies just at the mo (still great name though).

Clover gets a lot of mentions on this thread but have never yet come across one so maybe not overused.

Ilaria
Corinna

Xanthe

All gorgeous names yet barely used.

Oh forgot Tabitha on the list.
Unfortunately madly hubby doesn't like names that are too outside of the box. I like Leonora by the way.

He's obsessed with Evie, but I keep telling him everyone is calling there lo Evie at the moment.

alfiemama - once again depends where you are - I only know of one Evie up here however you could trip over Caitlyn/Isla/Sophie up here

please, if you love a name use it regardless of how many you think there will be
