Come share the names you, for whatever reason, wouldn't ever use, but love with a passion

Here are mine

Girls
Harlot (I KNOW, I know)
Rain
Dream
Ever
London
Paris
Noelle

Boys
Canyon
Baylor (cat's name now )
Rohan
Corbin
Caspian
Noel

I'm sure I have more that I need to think of

anamaria22 · 20/02/2010 10:23

Most names on this thread are absolutely beautiful and original. Wouldn't life be more interesting (and people easier to identify/remember) if we all went ahead and used them?

BessieBoots · 20/02/2010 10:56

ninjachipmunk I campaigned tirelessly for Gwilym. And Gwyn. DH would not allow it. Bah!

PeppermintPatty79 · 20/02/2010 11:44

Zachary Linus, DH says no... I've used my favorite boys names on my DS, and have a feeling DC2 will be another boy..
If it is a girl she will be Lena Scarlett

feralgirl · 20/02/2010 13:24

DH desperately wanted to call DS Peran but I vetoed it because I think it sounds like it's short for perrineum.

I like Ezra Heath but am working on DH as he's not sure...

matildax · 20/02/2010 13:27

mirena GIRL
durex BOY
little white pill GIRL/BOY
oops AGAIN GIRL OR BOY

TallestTower · 20/02/2010 18:09

Clint (after Eastwood). I imagine a son called Clint would be effortlessly cool and breeze through life on his charm.

maristella · 20/02/2010 18:51

ok....

indigo
romeo i liked it waaay before the beckhams did!!
orlando

I also know of a Zen and a Fabby

ThePinkOne · 20/02/2010 21:32

dizzydixies · 20/02/2010 21:52

I wanted to call DD2 Ever or Minty short for Araminta but Dh said no!!

I did get to use one of my fantasy names on DD3 though

Cassius/Cassian would have been our boys name had we not had 3 girls!!

xxkt1xx · 20/02/2010 22:01

like the girls name Sierra (middle name i have picked is rein) but its been banned as its like the car even though i pointed out DD1's name is Akacia after the tree. DP says nope!!!!

Trinity
Valentina
Venus

Boys
Sebastian
Etienne

caen · 20/02/2010 23:14

Wolf and Lydia. Love Lydia but a rhyme has ruined it for me.

gingertoo · 20/02/2010 23:34

I always wanted ds3 to be Gabriel but dh hated it...

I love Mallory for a girl... In fact my OH even agreed to have it as the middle name ( our surname also begins with an M and it just sounded silly together). But then I had another boy so it's still sat there waiting for me...

NadiaWadia · 21/02/2010 00:59

Another vote for Jezebel here. Very pretty, but impossible to use.

Have spotted my own DD's name listed on here - didn't think it was THAT unusual. Come on people - be braver with your choices. Going by this thread you would think all your DCs were named Jane and John!
