What about Sorrel - quite unusual just heard about it the other day? Waves to NAO - now we know! Still want to know what the first one was though .

My Granny was called Lettice - note the 'ice' ending though!! My third daughter has it as a second name so she doesn't have to admit to it if she doesn't want to! But I do know of a little called called Lettice, nicknamed Letty - very sweet I think.

Oh yes Sorrel is really nice - I knew there was a name like that I was trying to think of.

I really like Nettle as a name. I have no idea why, as it's not what you'd choose to name your children after, but actually I think it sounds great!

I'm not keen - so many nicer plants and flowers to choose from, why name your child after a weed that stings people?
