Our other choices include Alexander (hot favorite so far I think), also Mungo, Munro, Nairn, Hector and Rory.

DH has just suggested Dougray and my initial reaction was positive. Wondering what you ladies think to it (we are in Scotland, as you may have guessed!)

Honest opinions please, don't hold back.

paolosgirl · 19/12/2008 14:32

ScottishMummy · 19/12/2008 14:34

carnegie reminds me of dodgy glesgae pubs with cheap food and fights

dsrplus8 · 19/12/2008 14:38

Merrylegs · 19/12/2008 14:44

I think Dougray rocks! And I love Gray - v. cool - sounds like a movie star - but depends I guess on your surname too.

ScottishMummy · 19/12/2008 14:47

dsrplus8 · 19/12/2008 14:48

dsrplus8 · 19/12/2008 14:50

MCKENZIE is fab, i cant think of anything that rhymes in a negative way!,but its a tricky one for surnames. doesnt go with many

dsrplus8 · 19/12/2008 15:00

dsrplus8 · 19/12/2008 15:06

ScottishMummy · 19/12/2008 15:07

paolosgirl · 19/12/2008 15:09

Can't here Dougie without thinking of a family member who mixes in rough circles in Glasgow (can't think of any other way to put it!) and his friends who all call him Duggie (say it Glesgie like ken min), or the girl from Art Attack who used to pronounce it Dooogeee.
