Probably true - I have a friend called Attracta so it doesn’t sound unusual or old fashioned to me at all (but I also have friends called Nigel & Gary & you never hear of babies being called those names!)

I really like Drummond

Two names I heard years ago when travelling that I loved/still love:

Ysella (a Cornish name, most likely not unusual in Cornwall) and Briar. Both women would be in their 40's now and I've never come across anyone else by those names.

Sounds like a brand of toilet roll!

Carradoc is a cool name. The Brythonic version of Caractacus.

I taught an Oriana briefly. She was memorable, as well as her name.

Ossian is another one I liked.

When I first moved to London I met a Clodagh and an Imna (Immaculata Conceptione). Probably not so unusual in their countries of origin.

I worked with a Perdita which is a Shakespeare name and she went by Perdi like in 101 Dalmatians
