On the Netflix version of Little House on the Prairie there's a teenage girl character called Romanzy.
I really like it.

@faerylune I like Rosabel too. Lumi means snow in a Scandinavian language and I believe Nerys is welsh and the sister name to Carys

There's a Sunshine in the Victorian cemetery beside my flat, I've always loved that.
I knew a little girl called Candelaria years ago and thought it was very pretty.

Met an adorable baby called Lux once and I instantly thought what an amazing name to have. The single syllable + x sound is really pleasing to my ear.

I wouldn't choose most of these personally, but it's nice to hear something a bit different.

It was a little girl. It's such an unusual name but maybe by virtue of being a Latin word and/or so short, it doesn't come across as too out there or self-indulgent!

I knew a girl called Annelie when I was about 10 - I thought it was lovely and still like it.

I have also met a Lucetta, a Honey and a Brontë - I love both those names too

I have heard of a Dvora - I believe it's the Jewish form of Deborah

The most unusual boys name I have come across is West . . . this was his given name, not a shortening of anything. I don't know why he was named it as the rest of his siblings had common names

Not really out there but I worked with a man called Blessing and it suited him to a tee. His name just made me smile

I have also met a Hekla and a Diva! Hekla is Icelandic and Diva was from South America
