What do you think of the baby name Miles?

I wish I had thought about the name Miles when I had my son. I feel it's so warm and welcoming. Just for fun - what's people's opinions?

Miles is a lovely name.

I know one, friend of my son.

Better than old fashioned ones like Charles or Edward. Or the horror Andrew.

Cute. Quite a few of them popping up round me. That said I prefer Milo.

Sensible, solid, classless name, without being ridiculously popular. Passes the ‘High Court Judge’ test.

Most important person in Starfleet is called Miles.

I like it cos I had a lovely boss called Myles. Prefer that spelling.

Its not a name I would chose because I dont think the L sound is nice. PP mentioned Milo, the L has to be sounded correctly there but Miles is more of a w sound depending on accent

Makes me think of This Life. I do like it. Prefer Miles spelling to Myles.

I don’t like it . Maybe because it rhymes with Giles and I like that even less . I would also think it’s a middle class name .

Fab name but Myles not Miles

I love the name Myles (not sure why but I prefer the y spelling)

Don't like but it's not a problematic name, just personal preference.

Milo is much nicer imo

Miles to me is a distance not a sweet name!

I think Milo works well as a nickname for Miles, but I'm not so keen on Milo as an actual name!
