Would Maximus Decimus Meridius be too much for a baby name?

My DH is a huge Ridley Scott fan. He wants to call our son Maximus Decimus Meridius.
I’m not so sure. I’m worried he might get bullied?

I think it's charming and has a very nice feeling of the ancient world about it. I say go for it! And if he ends up being as hot as Russell Crowe in Gladiator he'll be a big hit with all the feminae 😉

You know those moments when your DM is really cross with you and calls you by your entire name? I can just imagine OP in about 3 years time in the playpark shouting "MAXIMUS DECIMUS MERIDIUS JONES! COME HERE NOW!"

How about Rufus Corvus?

He'd just shout back "I MUST HAVE MY VENGEANCE IN THIS LIFE OR THE NEXT" and carry on rampaging round the slide
