There childhood friends

I’ve only met one other person with the same first name as me. We only met briefly so i wouldn’t call her ‘relevant’ to my life!

My aunt.

I don’t know anyone else with my name, despite it being really popular when I was born (think, top 10).

I don’t know anyone with my name who is even slightly relevant.

My name is super popular. I don't see how having the same name is relevant to anything. I don't know anyone with the same name I would remotely use the word about!

Edited to delete my entire previous answer… my best friends daughter is named after me 😂 that’s pretty special.

Like a PP I'm aware of/have met in passing other people with my name but none are 'in my life'. The closest is someone who occasionally I'm in a meeting with at a client's. I was in my 30s before I even met anyone with my name

I have a relatively common 1960s. It has 2 spellings. Including my own spelling, there’s usually someone in my life with it…..mainly colleagues and acquaintances though.

No one although my name was my late mum’s middle name

My head teacher when I was in prinary, although hers was with an E, and my bra fitter.

Which is nuts, since it's very rare for me to enounter anyone with the same name as me at all!

People tend to make friends because of a person, not their name..

DH's sister and their stepmother both have the same name as me...and I took DH's surname. Yes, can be confusing, we are all referred to with a description along with our name eg. Northern Rozendantz etc

Title is nothing about friends though, just about relevance.

My hairdresser has the same name as me. And DC driving instructor.

I've never met anyone with my name, in all my 44 years. Unless you count a Yorkshire Terrier in 1987.
