There childhood friends

Me neither. I was the only person in my school with that name. A former work colleague is the only other person I've met who has my name.

At present it's someone in my book group.
A few years ago it was my vicar.
(Not very common name.)

No one at the moment. Someone at work, years ago. No one in childhood or early adulthood.

An Old friend... was a very popular name in our generation.
I have one cousin with same name but no regular contact with her.

Literally no one I know has my name

My stepmum, it can be confusing as our surname is quite unusual. I don’t mind being referred to as young zen but she’s not so keen on old zen! My dad used to call us zens.
My best friend’s mum also has the same name and I have a good friend with the same name too, we met through our children’s hobby where there was another mum also with the same name, so the mums were zen, zen, zen and Sarah.

Two people at work. I don't have anyone in my personal life with my name.

DH's cousin has the same full name but usually goes by a different short form.

Closest person who usually uses exactly the same version is a not-very-close friend who shares about 3 interests with me, so I see her in various places fairly often. At the interest I took up most recently, there's at least one more of us too.

My builder, although he spells his differently.

No one in my life has the same first name - although I have met one other person with my first name in my life (the sister of a former colleague about 10 years ago). I have never met anyone with my middle name - or heard of anyone with it, although it is a name, it's just very uncommon.

My son’s girlfriend’s mum. And it’s a very uncommon name. We are known as Beasmith 1 and Beasmith 2 by them!

I have the same name as one of my mum’s best friends, though she met her after I was born.

Mine is a biblical name which is very recognisable. I have always loved it although I do find it odd that my parents chose it because my father's only sister had the same name and died at 18, and my mother had a daughter from a previous marriage who lived for only five days. While phantom aunt and ghostly half sister aren't 'in my life', I think of myself as the third in a line with them. My father's mother was very forceful so I suspect she wanted the name and my mum felt powerless to resist.

I have a very common traditional name very popular on MN but I have only met one other person with my name. My children don’t actually know people with their names …1 very common name 2nd we have yet to meet the same name and 3rd didn’t meet anyone with her name for 20 years ,until about 5years ago and now everywhere .

Didn't know there was anyone in the world with my name until I joined Facebook years back and did a search. There are a few, but I haven't found any in the UK - though there was a racehorse many years ago! My aunt put a bet on it (IIRC it was a works sweepstake) and despite being an outsider it won 🐎

I have never met someone with my first name. So noone. I am mid 50s btw.
