Just use Suzette it’s a gorgeous name. She could be ‘Grape’ Suzette.

Exactly!

Black-Markett

Calliopespa · 12/04/2025 14:54

Odette.
Sounds a bit like a toilet air freshener.

Albinette
Alizarinette
Azurette
Burgundette
Cadette Grey
Cerisette
Citronette
Clarette
Copperette
Magnoliette
Ochrette
Peachette
Purplette
Snowette
Sunsette
Tealette
Verdigrisette

Or of course Cosette, Lafayette, Marionette, Novelette, Pirouette...

Pippyls67 · 12/04/2025 16:25

Usherette or Pippett. Maybe Hairnett or even Caravanette. Personally I love the triple barrelled name ‘World Wide Web ’. It’s very international and you can shorten it to ‘Internett’. Forget the colour aspect - you don’t want to make her feel silly 🤣

I would read a series of detective novels starring Cadette Grey. Someone write it, please. The heartless generative language games here make me sure some of you are Lurking Authors.

Or Juliette is also perfect...and it is a colour ! It's blue

Is it?! That’s really a good suggestion then.

OP would want it spelled Juliett though!...

SnowFrogJelly · 14/04/2025 01:01

Bassinets

lottiegarbanzo · 15/04/2025 08:21

Seriously OP (if not too late) Clairet. It’s a dark rose wine from Bordeaux and the origin of the anglicised term Claret.

I think so.....it's actually Juliet Blue but close enough :)

Onyourmarksgetsette

On a very very serious note, the lack of the final e would make me want to scream. This laxity is precisely why the world is on fire.

Scarlet should either be with no second t and no e (as demonstrated) or, if you must, have another t and another e. But you'd be a fool to yourself.

thestudio · 19/04/2025 14:33

More topically, cishette

Riversof0tter5 · 19/04/2025 14:45

Lilac Sunbonnett

Riversof0tter5 · 19/04/2025 14:47

Viennett would be a sweet name and very cool

Cool and sweet like ice cream ...

... what about the fabulous name Etta Lemon? Doesn't quite fit the bill but she was an actual person, she campaigned against the cruelty of the feather trade

I couldn't agree more... but then I may be slightly biased!

Only one I can think of is Claret, but please done name your child after wine.

If you want the “et” sound:

Odette
Juliette
Bridget
Collette
Nicolette

Someone else mentioned Rosette, a Rose is a name and a colour.

I had a colleague named Nicolette and every time someone said her name it reminded me of the stop smoking product "Nicorette" so personally I'd avoid that.
