Please help struggling to find boys names beginning with P

All our other children's names begin with P so seems only right to carry this through to our last.
The thing is I don't love any names.
I like something unusual
Our other names are
Posy🩷
Petal 🩷
Pippin💙
Poet💙

Please send help 🙏

I know a bloke called Patch as a nickname for Patrick. If your husband likes Paddy, perhaps Patch when little, Paddy when a teenager and Patrick on the birth certificate?

Other suggestions which might be your sort of thing:

Patriot
Panther
Pluto
Pilot
Pagan
Persimmon (Percy for short)
Porter
Pirate
Pierre
Python
Painter
Panama
Preston

Thank you xx

I actually think Patch totally works for an adult! There's that film Patch Adams. Depends on your last name. Pat/Patch/Patrick/Paddy all has something to it.

But Piran, patron saint of Cornwall, is a great shout!

Are surname is double barrelled so a bit of a mouthful but patch goes well with it!

I think Parker would be lovely with your existing names.

Pepper
Piper

RichPetunia · 02/09/2024 20:42

Please do not name your child Patch. Also I think Percy may be a nickname for penis (could be wrong). Phineas is a nice suggestion.

SirSidneyRuffDiamond · 02/09/2024 20:46

PG Wodehouse was Pelham, which I like.

I will however add a vote for Percy as it's such a great name. Although as ac traditionalist I would use Percival on the BC. Actually I love the full name too.

How about:
Peter or Patrick as they are not that common these days.

Or more off the wall:
Pendragon
Peregrine (Perry)
Pybba and Penda were Anglo Saxon kings of Mercia
Perkin
Perrin

JanefromLondon1 · 02/09/2024 20:55

Percy is my fave boys name at the moment too and goes with your other names.

Why don't you like patch?

Not heard Percy being referred to a penis
I only think of Percy from Thomas the tank!

How rude that actually is my child's name.
Funny you're the first person who's been rude on this whole chat.
Remember you've no idea what kind of day people are having and unkind comments aren't needed.
There are so many names I don't like but I wouldn't tell someone that had that name it was awful. Names are individual.
Be kind it's much nicer

I don't like Percy I'm afraid. It reminds me of the phrase "point percy at the porcelain " ie to go for a wee (males).
