Leggy123 · 02/09/2024 16:10

Please help struggling to find boys names beginning with P

All our other children's names begin with P so seems only right to carry this through to our last.
The thing is I don't love any names.
I like something unusual
Our other names are
Posy🩷
Petal 🩷
Pippin💙
Poet💙

Please send help 🙏

Percy will forever be associated with Percy Pig.

Doughnuting · 02/09/2024 18:45

Piran - like in the Cornish St Piran

itsgettingweird · 02/09/2024 18:50

I love Posy too - reminds me of Ballet Shoes.

I also think Percy does go really well with your names.

Sorry to hear about baby Rupert. That must have been so tough. Flowers

itsgettingweird · 02/09/2024 18:51

I also think

Paris and Perry are nice too.

Philosopher
Poacher
Phlebotomist
Psychologist
Painter
Pilot
Plumber
Podiatrist
Porter
President
Pianist
Pilgrim
Postie

or Plum

Biscuitsneeded · 02/09/2024 18:58

Phineas
Ptolemy
Phoenix
Perry (Peregrine)
Petrus
Philip
Pablo
Pierce
Pasha

Or, given your other children's names are quite bold choices, you could go really out there with:

Panther
Perseus
Prince
Pontus
Pharaoh

Personally, I really like Peter!

Page? Or Pine. Patch? Peridot is a gemstone that could have the nn Perry. A pp suggested Plum, which I quite like - that was PG Wodehouse's nn.

Ptarmigan? Pterodactyl?

viques · 02/09/2024 19:26

Some of them were serious choices!

Pilgrim, Pilot, Plum,Painter

But yes the others were a bit silly.

Shoesshoes87 · 02/09/2024 19:28

At first I thought Percy but when I put it next to each name I couldn’t work out if it was too similar to Posy. Probably not, but when I say all the names in the order you put them, Patch also sits nicely at the end.
sorry about baby Rupert x

Normallynumb · 02/09/2024 19:29

Pearce

LadyGabriella · 02/09/2024 19:29

Paris. It’s actually originally a male name - Ancient Greek and also used by Shakespeare.

onwardsup4 · 02/09/2024 19:32

Pierre

onwardsup4 · 02/09/2024 19:34

Second Paris as well, went to school with a male Paris. Just read some of the thread is this real? You can't call your son plum surely

myflightiscancelled · 02/09/2024 19:35

My first through was Percy and then Percy Bysshe Shelley which lines up nicely with Poet!

Also Percy Jackson is popular kids author.

TheCultureHusks · 02/09/2024 19:38

Piran? Cornwall’s patron saint! But also like Percy.
