Nickname for a girl named Sunday

Hi all,

I’m pregnant with my second daughter, due in a few weeks weeks and we’ve decided to name her Sunday. I’d love some nickname ideas that aren’t “Sunny”.

Middle name will be Victoria just as an FYI.

Maybe... but for people with British heritage and living in the UK, if they wanted to call their son Nicola or Andrea, I would make the traditional MN suggestion that the boy's father should first spend three months introducing himself (either in writing or verbally with his very British accent) to everybody new as Nicola or Andrea!

I really like the name Sunday and I wouldn't shorten it at all. Just keep correcting your SIL if she calls her something else. I have a family member called Lily and even from being tiny she'd tell anyone off who dared to call her Lil

Nicknames don't necessarily have anything to do with first names - we have a 'Boris' in the family whose name has nothing at all to do with Boris but had wild hair when he was a toddler so it stuck!

Stick with Sunday and if it happens let a nickname come naturally from her features/personality.
