Names you nearly used..

when we had dd1 we nearly used

Arwyn for a girl
Caleb or Corin for a boy

when we had dd2 we nearly used

Phoebe for a girl
Roan or Reuben for a boy

anyone else have nearly used names?

DD would have been Hamish.

For BOY: Kian, Hamish, Finlay, Cillian
For Girl: Amelia

DD1 was Daisy till 2 days before she came when DH decided he didnt like it She is called Lily..
(but I still think of her sometimes as Daisy!)

But could also have been Lila or Lola..I left DH to decide whilst I was being repaired following birth!

DD2 was Amelia, Ava, Poppy..and ended up being Mae..

And if we were to have a boy it would be Noah Christopher...(no doubt till DH changed his mind again)

dd1 was going to be - Persephone or Constance. Abraham if a ds

ds1 - was going to be Ezekiel, Herbie, Abraham or Hector. didnt have any girls names

dd2 was going to be Gwendolen or Maude. Moses or Linus if a ds

ds2 was going to be Herbert, Ernest or Cedric. Dorothy if a girl.

Would still love to use at least 9 of the rejects - and now dd1 wiishes shw was called Dorothy!

DD was going to be Matilda or Maude. She is neither.

If she were a DS she also would have neen Reuben (and this is still by number one boy's name for any future DS).

I loved Lloyd everyone I knew at the time laughed, I never did a Lloyd,but I still like it

dd1 was going to be william iof a boy until prince woilliam took that one

she was zelda until born and i wish we had gone with that or her middle name naomi

ds was going to be conrad

DD was nearly Jaiya

DS would have been (possibly!) Noeli had he been a girl and was nearly called Xavier

When carrying dts we knew they were girls, I had a whole heap of names I could'nt decide between, including............

DS would have been Bethany if he'd been a DD

DD might have been William, or Alexander or Thomas. Still not sure what she would have been. Probably a good thing she was a girl .

Charlotte was the 'also ran' for all 3 of my girls.....none of them looked like Charlottes.

DS was always going to be the name he is as we picked that 5 years ago when pg with #1! Fourth baby, first boy and we finally get to use that name!

We had Claudio on the list for ds2 (allowed to as dp half Italian) but decided people wouldn't know how to pronounce it - should the first bit be like cloud or like claude?

Ds - toyed with Angus, Stewart & Finlay

Girl-Elinor

DD's middle name was going to be Leela for a little while - after the ass kicking space pilot with one eye and purple hair from Futurama. We chickened out and played safe with Anna.

DD was nearly Olivia and if a boy would have been Harry

DS was nearly Matthew or Callum (Findlay if I had my way). We knew he was a boy so no girls names in the frame but I think he would have been Olivia.

3rd child (currently trying)

Findlay if I can get DH drunk enough to agree, Matthew, Isabel, Olivia or Caitlin

ds1 would have been Erin if a girl

dt1/dd had one name - lucky she was a girl

dt2/ds2 Grace if a girl and he was supposed to be Luke - but didn't look like one!!

ds1 would have been either isabella or grace.
ds2 would have been isabel, hannah or beatrice. was almost george but i decided he didn't look like a george when he came out.

really love the name isabel....

My son was nearly Bruno and dd was nearly Sylvie.......

I was gutted at the time that my ex wouldn't allow those names, but now I'm ok about it. I think the O trend is rolling downwards.

My cousin has a Lloyd, and I said to her today that I bet he is the only one they know and she said that no, they do know of another one. I couldn't believe it.
