In school what was the girl with in the - your mind - prettiest name

This is somewhat inspired by the resurrected prettiest girls name you know thread.

I wondered when you went to school what was the girl with the name you likes the most called?

I didnt grow up in the UK but for me her name was Karina. I thought her name was so pretty and unusual (it's a fairly normalish name for my generation in Denmark think top 50-100) but oh I had name.envy. grew out of it and Karina never even entered the consideration for my own children.😁

I also thought of Fleur. But then remembered that was the local carpenter's dog.

Faye and Florence/Flo, pretty unusual then. We had Faye on our list for DD, no longer like Florence though

Sashi, beautiful name and she was a sweet pretty girl.

Everyone else was called Laura, Sarah, Lucy etc.

So this was completely out there and was a lovely name and she was a lovely girl.

Her brother had a very typical name of the time 😂🤷‍♀️

Same for me and I’ll admit I did use it for DD 😂

Katie. I really wanted to be like her because she always had nice hair bobbles and a Michael Jackson pencil case with a watermelon rubber.

I went to her house once and that made my awe stronger but also confirmed just how different we were.

Yasmin. She had really dark (near black) hair and the bluest eyes I've ever seen. She was always smiling as well

Diana. She was so graceful and had the most beautiful shiny long straight hair. She really suited her name.

Daisy, even the teacher said she had such a pretty name that she could choose to use her first or middle 😂 the jealousy among us littlins to choose.

And a Franchesca.

Imogen and Felicity

Rosamund and Juliet were the two names I would have preferred for myself. They were the most beautiful and brightest girls I knew.

I know an Erica and that's kind of cute

Zoe! Thought her name was so cool and she was lucky to have it.

Wendy, with long browny blond streaked hair and piercing blue eyes. She was so pretty.

Me too! The girl called Thea at my school was very cool, which made the name seem special. I wonder if we are remembering the same person!

Tiffany. Always loved the name, and the owner of the name was gorgeous, cool AND lovely. With perfect hair.

Anastasia who had beautiful long blonde hair and Viva who was very quiet and had a troubled home life.
