In school what was the girl with in the - your mind - prettiest name

This is somewhat inspired by the resurrected prettiest girls name you know thread.

I wondered when you went to school what was the girl with the name you likes the most called?

I didnt grow up in the UK but for me her name was Karina. I thought her name was so pretty and unusual (it's a fairly normalish name for my generation in Denmark think top 50-100) but oh I had name.envy. grew out of it and Karina never even entered the consideration for my own children.😁

Daniella.

Oh and a girl called Anoushka - I thought that to be a very "cool" name indeed! In the opposite vein there was a girl called Gerda (I think her mum was German) she was such a pretty girl, sweet girl and her name was kind of opposite of her!

Sharon. She had beautiful long blonde hair and seemed very grown up. This would have been when I was about 7. :)

Lila from sheet Valley twins. And Billie from my class.

Felicity. She was so pretty and lived in a posher house than most of us.

I don't particularly like the name now though.

Belinda, I loved that name. She was very pretty and a really nice person that’s probably why I liked it.

Alanna. I thought it sounded so exotic!

Faye... this was in the early 70s and she was SOOO pretty! Definitely the most glamorous name I'd ever heard at that point...still love it actually!

Ariadne, such a sweetheart and really different name and finally although I wasnt keen on the girl herself, Tuesday. Yes she was called a day. I often wonder if she changed it when she grew up.
And not in school but Avril. She definitely suited her name.

I was at school with a Lailani, and I thought that was the prettiest name ever! Didn't cross my mind years later when I named my own children though.

Lois was the most glamorous name; I also liked Louisa, but the prettiest name was Della.

Also there were quite a few Amys older than me at school and I always found that name really pretty.

I recently met an Ottilie, a gorgeous name, but not sure I'd give it to a kid.

Oh gosh yes me too. Love that name and loved it even more when I was a kid.

Maria. I wanted to be her! I don’t like it as much now although I did consider it for dd2 16 years ago.

I was at school with a girl called Dustine, I think it’s possibly a made up name? But I thought it was pretty and different

Before I even read your post (just read the title), I thought of 3 - and one of them was karina!
The other two were Suzanna and Lowri.
